Many thought something wrong with her, worrying that she would always be a quiet child and they were absolutely right. As she grew into a child, she would be slowly plagued by dreams she didn't quite understand, and when she spoke to her friends and family about the strange things she saw, she noticed a quick withdraw from her. Early on, she learned that speaking of prophecies were a quick way to push people away but also learned that if she got close to people, she would dream of them.
So, she began to keep people at bay, only ever having one best friend growing up. Her friend, who was named Maeb, happened to be into the occult and enjoyed hearing of Branna's dreams. That was, until Branna had a dream of her friend being seriously injured. At first, Maeb had only laughed about the premonition, thinking nothing of the dream, until Maeb ended up in a major accident that left her unable to walk and barely able to think. After that, Branna separated herself from her best friend despite the pain she felt and began to research more into the ability of her dreams. That was how she began her studies into the religions of the world and started taking an interest in them.
By the time she hit 18, she went into college to study more of the world's religious history, and her studies brought her to many different parts of the world, one of those being Seoul, South Korea. It didn't take long for her to find a place of her own to stay and secure herself a job while she comes to the end of her studies. It's also the place where her story begins to take a rather dramatic turn...
