This thread explains how the magic and other power systems will work within our Realm. There are multiple types of magic and spiritual energies that are used within this Realm. As such; this will explain the basics of how evrything works when it comes to those 2.
Power & Magic Regulations
1. Preparation: Every affinity attack needs a preparation time, this means the stronger the spell or attack the longer the preparation time will be. For instance, An attack that is capable of destroying a building Takes around Six posts to prepare while an attack that can destroy a small boulder is an instant attack with no preparation time. This is to create a balancing system for those who use magic or spiritual essence to concentrate on spell creating but also on hand-to-hand combat.
2. Damage: Powers can reach the maximum potential of Damage or output is Mountain Vaporizer. This is set because the stronger an Attack is the Length of preparation is dramatically increased. For that reason, “Vaporizer” Attacks which takes at least 9 posts to prepare to be able to deal damage equivalent to vaporizing an entire Mountain. Max Lines of Post of Preparations is 13 posts for the Power to Destroy an entire Mountain.
3. Mana: Since Mana is metaphysical, The Starting capacity during Spars or Death matches are 300 points. However, this does not mean you are limited to that 300 points of Mana. If skilled enough, Mana Users are capable to utilize the Ethereal Mana around them granting a nearly unlimited source of Mana though in the cost of the users Power strength being cut in half.
4. Magic Limits: When using two Vaporizing Spells Back to back, or Three Creation Spells, or even Ten Advance and twenty Basic spells (Which is equivalent to 100 points of Mana) The user will be locked out of every form of magic which will cause the victim locked out to be dealt 2x more damage from in coming magic based spells. But it also activates a Physical Resistance which weakens any incoming Physical Attack (Non Magic) by 2x.
5. Spiritual Limits: When using two Vaporizing attacks Back to back, Three Creation attacks, or even Ten Advance and twenty Basic attacks (Which is equivalent to 100 points of Mana) The user will be locked out of every form of spiritual Essence which will cause the victim locked out to be dealt 2x more damage from in coming Spiritual based attacks. But it also activates a Physical Resistance which weakens any incoming Physical Attack (Non Spiritual) by 2x. Only way this does not affect the user is if they have a spiritual transformation.
6. Types Of Magic: There are Five Ethereal Magics - Fire, Water, Earth, Air, and Lightning which has multiple combination spells and Hybrid spells (Sub Elements). There are Two Astral Magics - Light and Darkness Which can not be hybridized with any form of Ethereal magic but rather substitutes. the Ethereal Magic to Create Spells under the Category Creation Magic. These Magics can be more effective than that of the Basic and Advanced Ethereal Spells.
7. Astral Magic Restriction: Unlike Ethereal magics, which can be learned and wielded by skilled mortals, Astral magics are bound to the primordial essences of the universe. Only the reincarnations of Ninjin and Myrus—the two creator deities—can access and channel these forces. Astral magic responds solely to their presence, intent, and life force; any attempt by another being to manipulate it results in failure, backlash, or the magic dissipating entirely. This restriction reflects the inherent connection between the Astral powers and the very fabric of creation, making these spells an exclusive signature of divine reincarnation.
8. Types Of Spiritual Essence: There Are 4 Types of Spiritual Ethereal Energy. Qi (Healing), Chi (Body Buffing), Ki (Life Energy Wielding which also has a dark variant), and Kinetic Force (Spiritual Air Strike), each have their own unique combination or attacks, but none can be hybridized with another. The other 2 Spiritual Energies Are Spirit Control and Solar Energy, Which can not be hybridized with any form of Spiritual Ethereal Energy. These Energies can be much more effective than that of the Basic and Advanced Ethereal Energies.
