Character Name: Yume Yuzuriha
Age: 18 Years Old
Origin: Fuji, Japan
Birthday: June 1st, 2214
Gender: Female
Height: 5 Foot 8 Inches
Weight: 142 Lbs

Personality Type: Yume lives for the thrill of combat. Unlike those who seek higher purpose or spiritual clarity in battle, Yume’s drive is raw, selfish, and dangerously intoxicating. She fights because it excites her, because nothing makes her feel more alive than dominating her opponent. She thrives on sadism, delighting in pain, both the pain she inflicts and the sharp retaliation she receives in return. If denied a proper fight, her temper flares viciously; nothing irritates her more than someone who treats her seriously-earned violence as a game. Cunning and unpredictable, Yume often plays the role of a femme fatale. She’s fully aware of her striking beauty and isn’t shy about weaponizing it. She flirts, taunts, and teases without hesitation, mixing her allure with cruelty. Her enemies often can’t tell whether she’s mocking them, seducing them, or preparing to full on kill them; and sometimes, it’s all three. She even goes as far as using her legs and feet as tools of humiliation, especially when she senses someone is too distracted or flustered by her sensuality. To her, power is as much psychological as physical, and she enjoys twisting that knife until her prey squirms.

Yet, beneath the ruthless exterior lies a storm of contradictions. At times, Yume seems almost hollow, her cruel smirk fades into an empty stare, revealing an undertone of loneliness. Her sadism masks a broken core, trauma and isolation that she refuses to confront. She lashes out at others, mocking their flaws, ridiculing their pain, even when it mirrors her own. Despite this, a twisted sense of honor occasionally slips through. She avoids dragging children into violence, detests needless cruelty toward animals, and has moments where she spares the weak if they remind her of something buried deep within. These rare glimpses of compassion only highlight the fractured duality of who she is. Her sexuality, like her personality, is teasingly elusive. Yume is openly flirtatious with both men and women, though whether her advances are sincere or purely to manipulate is deliberately unclear. She enjoys keeping others guessing; mocking, flustering, and destabilizing them with every smirk and remark. What is undeniable is that she knows she’s irresistible and revels in using it to her advantage, turning lust into another weapon in her arsenal.

Moral Alignment: Chaotic, Neutral

Greatest Fear: Yume's greatest fear is being truly alone, the crushing emptiness of knowing no one will ever be there when the mask slips terrify her more than anything else. That fear took root the day the last person she trusted betrayed her, “killing” the only woman she ever loved as a twisted joke. Yume believes her girlfriend is gone forever, and the wound has festered into a hollow ache she hides beneath her smirks and sadism. Deep down, she’s terrified that everyone she lets close will either leave her, break her, or end up buried because of her. The irony is that her cruelty and manipulations are fueled by this same fear; if she keeps everyone at arm’s length, she can’t be hurt again. But in the rare quiet moments, when the fight is over and the thrill has passed, Yume is haunted by the thought that she’s already lost the only person who could have saved her from her loneliness.

Nikki (1st Girlfriend): In Progress

Cairo (1st Male Crush): Yume met Cairo after on the second day of school at the Nexus Academy, she hadn’t expected to find someone interesting waiting at the school but it proved to be more interesting an opportunity to pass up. Most men wilted when she approached, too intimidated by the sharpness behind her smile. But Cairo? He looked right back at her with that infuriating calm. And Yume knew immediately, she was going to make him hers. Claiming was as natural to her as breathing, and the moment Cairo grinned at her, she decided he belonged to her and openly told him. He laughed, of course. That easy, careless laugh that made her want to claw at him and kiss him in the same breath. “I already belong to two people apparently; you'll need to try harder than that to impress me.” That was the beginning. At first, Jennie and Reina were nothing more than background noise to Yume. So she did what she always did, she took what she wanted. She made her presence known from the moment she set foot in Nexus Academy, her smirk slicing through their fragile peace. She’d saunter past Jennie with a wink, brush her fingers across Cairo’s shoulder just to see Reina’s jaw tighten, and when they thought she’d finally crossed a line, she’d whisper something venomous and sweet enough to melt it all back into confusion. “He already knows who he belongs to.” she’d said once, smiling like sin itself. The look on their faces was delicious. But Cairo wasn’t like other men. His indifference to weakness intrigued her, even as his kindness infuriated her. He’d tease her back, dodge her provocations with that lazy grin, and when she pushed harder, he’d push back. He saw through her. And that terrified her more than she’d ever admit. Then time began to do what time always does, it eroded her armor. The more time she spent with them, she saw them differently. Jennie wasn’t weak; her kindness was unshakable; a kind of strength Yume didn’t know how to fight against. Reina’s silence wasn’t submission; it was control, discipline, an unyielding resolve that made Yume’s chest tighten in ways she didn’t understand. She hated how much she noticed them, how much they steadied her, and how much Cairo saw right through every crack she tried to hide. Yume had built her life on control, on knowing exactly how to pull the strings of others. But around them, her own strings tangled. She still mocked Jennie with sly comments, leaned too close to Reina just to watch her fluster, and whispered shameless things to Cairo just to see that calm veneer slip for half a heartbeat. But somewhere beneath the games, the flirting, the provocation, something else had begun to grow. She caught herself watching Cairo when he wasn’t looking—how his laugh lit up rooms, how his voice softened when speaking to Jennie, how his rare compliments made Reina blink in quiet surprise. She hated that it warmed her. She hated that she wanted to be part of it. The cruel truth, the one Yume would never voice out loud, was this: she didn’t just want Cairo anymore. She wanted them. Jennie’s warmth. Reina’s loyalty. Cairo’s chaotic, magnetic gravity. Together, they were everything she pretended she didn’t need. She knows she’s dangerous, broken, hard to love. She knows her edges cut too deep. But when Cairo looks at her—not as prey, not as a trophy, but as an equal—something in her chest trembles. And though she’ll keep teasing, keep provoking, keep pretending she doesn’t care… deep down, she already knows. If they would have her, she would stay.

Reina & Jennie (2nd & 3rd Girl Crushes/Future): At first, Jennie and Reina were just obstacles, pretty little guardians hovering around Cairo like loyal dogs guarding their master. Yume could smell their hesitance from the moment she set foot in Nexus Academy. Jennie with her quiet warmth, Reina with her reserved steadiness; neither of them daring to claim what they clearly wanted. It was pathetic, almost laughable. And Yume? She had no interest in playing coy. Cairo intrigued her, so she said what she wanted and made it known. She looked them both in the eye and let the words drip like poison: “He already knows who he belongs to.” Watching their faces tighten was almost as satisfying as the way Cairo’s ears would redden under her teasing. To Yume, it wasn’t about love at first. It was about the game. She liked how Jennie bristled, how Reina stiffened, how Cairo faltered between confusion and temptation. Their restraint was weakness in her eyes, and she delighted in tearing at it, shredding their little unspoken equilibrium with sharp smirks and cruel remarks. If she wanted something, she claimed it and it was as simple as that. And Cairo? He was worth claiming. Not just because of the way he fought, but because of the quiet weight he carried, the kind of gravity that pulled people in without trying. But time has a way of changing things; Missions blurred into sleepless nights, exhaustion dragged laughter out of even the most disciplined, and in the cracks between, Yume saw something she hadn’t expected. Jennie, who at first seemed fragile, had a warmth that melted through Yume’s defenses in subtle ways. She hated how much she noticed it, how Jennie’s smile soothed her, how her gentleness was never weakness but a quiet strength. Reina, too, revealed more than Yume cared to admit. Beneath the icy composure was a steel spine, someone who never wavered no matter how sharp Yume’s taunts became. Yume found herself relying on them as well. And that’s when the irritation became something else. It wasn’t just about Cairo anymore. Jennie and Reina weren’t weaklings clinging to him. they were fire and foundation, complements to what she herself lacked. Jennie’s soft sincerity steadied her temper when she would’ve snapped. Reina’s silent loyalty filled a hollow ache Yume had carried for years. For the first time, Yume found herself hesitating. She wasn’t used to hesitation. She wasn’t used to wanting someone without tearing them apart first. The cruel truth she finally admitted to herself, if only in the quiet of her own mind was that she didn’t just want Cairo. She wanted them all. Not as playthings, not as pawns, but as something terrifyingly close to family. That word still tasted bitter, but she couldn’t deny the pull. She still teases, of course. She still mocks Jennie with sly winks, pushes Reina’s patience with whispered innuendo, and throws her boldest claims at Cairo just to watch them all squirm. But underneath the sharpness is something real, something she’d never say out loud: she wouldn’t be upset if their bond grew to include her. In fact, she craved it. Their steadiness, their warmth, their loyalty—together it was everything she pretended not to need. Yume knows she’s dangerous, broken, hard to love. But when she fights alongside Jennie and Reina, when Cairo looks at her with that frustrating mix of caution and curiosity, she lets herself imagine it. Not conquest. Not possession. But belonging. And though her smirk never fades, in her hollow chest, she knows the truth: if they would have her, she would stay.

Main ability: Yume’s Blood Power - Scarlet Sickles: Channels her Bio Energy into her bloodstream, allowing her to form blood-forged sickles that extend from parts of her body. The constructs retain a semi-fluid sharpness; both solid enough to slice through steel and flexible enough to fracture into shards mid-flight before reforming back at her command. Yume can swing them in wide arcs for brutal close-range assaults or detach and hurl them as spinning projectiles. Unlike static weapons, her sickles retain flexibility and can shift in length or curvature mid-combat, giving her fluid adaptability. Her style combines long, and mid-to-close range combat, where her blood sickles allow her to weave together relentless combos. She can also use the blood trails left by her sickles like a web to set traps for her enemies.
Techniques
Flying Blood Sickles
: Yume releases multiple sharp and durable sickle-shaped blades of solidified blood by swinging her Kama. She is also able to control these sickles at will.

Rampant Arc Rampage: Yume flails around her Kama haphazardly and creates a dome of sickle-shaped blades of solidified blood around her that defend from incoming attacks. The blades spin so rapidly that they deny openings, and expanded outwards when finishing for good measure.

Rotating Circular Slashes: Flying Blood Scythes: Yume unleashes circular waves of sharp solidified blood from her arms by rupturing her veins, although she can also merely rupture the veins on her shoulders to activate it.

Unique Ability: Homing: A defining trait of Scarlet Sickles is Yume’s ability to imbue her blood projectiles with a homing effect. Once detached, she is able to make them curve, accelerate, or return to her hand mid-flight. Even if deflected or dodged, the sickles curve back around, forcing enemies into a constant state of defense. This ability makes Yume’s attacks very difficult to escape even behind cover or at a distance. The longer a fight drags on, the more her homing sickles saturate the battlefield, creating a deadly crimson net that restricts every possible escape route.

Weakness
Forming and maintaining her sickles rapidly drains Yume’s own blood. Overuse risks fatigue, dizziness, or even critical blood loss if she pushes past her limits. She must balance aggression with survival, or risk literally bleeding herself dry.

On his power and supremacy:
"Why struggle among mortals when the world itself bows to the hand that commands legends?"
When summoning a weapon echo:
"Excalibur… show them the radiance of true kingship. Let them see how a sovereign strikes."
Taunting a rival or enemy:
"You fight as if destiny favors you — how quaint. Step aside, and let history remember my brilliance instead."
On his bond with Kaizo:
"Do not blink, Kaizo. You may yet witness the moment a king ascends beyond even the myths themselves."

Character Name: Jin Utsugi
Age: 19 Years Old
Origin: Okinawa, Japan
Birthday: June 1st, 2213
Gender: Male
Height: 5 Foot 10 Inches
Weight: 152 Lbs
Personality Type:
Jin Utsugi carries himself with the effortless authority of a monarch who knows he is above the rabble. He sees the world as a treasury beneath his feet, and himself as its rightful Keeper. Much like the King Gilgamesh, Jin exudes a sharp arrogance — confident to the point of cruelty, mocking opponents who dare to measure themselves against him. His words are often laced with disdain, yet spoken with a calmness that makes them sting sharper than rage. To him, all others are subjects or obstacles; allies are useful pawns, enemies are amusing playthings to test the edge of his arsenal.
Yet Jin’s arrogance is not blind pride — it is backed by adaptability. Unlike Gilgamesh’s static disdain, Jin draws upon the mythic essence of his weapons to shift his tone and aura when summoning them. With Excalibur, his arrogance becomes noble radiance, carrying himself like a paragon of honor. With Gáe Bolg, he grows sharper, more ruthless, taunting his foes with inevitability. Muramasa twists his words into venom, his arrogance sliding into bloodlust. When calling Zeus’ Bolt, he roars with storm-born authority, commanding the battlefield like a god of thunder; when bearing Hermes’ Boots, he becomes sly, quick-tongued, mocking his foes with wit as fast as his movements. This shifting persona makes him unpredictable, a man who wears legends like masks, yet whose core remains a proud and untouchable king.
Deep beneath the arrogance, Jin carries a subtle fear of losing himself to these myths. Each weapon demands its echo of personality, and he knows too much indulgence risks diluting who he truly is. But rather than resist, he embraces it with calculated control, bending the will of legends to his own. In his mind, he is not just a wielder of weapons — he is the one who commands them, the sovereign over myths themselves. His pride comes not from the Archive he wields, but from the belief that no myth, no god, no legend can overshadow Jin Utsugi, the living king.
Moral Alignment: Chaotic, Neutral
Greatest Fear: The Hollow King
Despite his pride and dominance, Jin carries a buried fear — that without the Archive, he is nothing. His power is drawn from the myths of countless heroes and gods, yet none of them are truly his. Deep inside, Jin dreads being seen as a hollow vessel, a man who only borrows greatness instead of embodying it. The adaptability he flaunts — mirroring the arrogance of gods, the savagery of cursed blades, the nobility of kings — sometimes leaves him questioning where Jin Utsugi ends and the weapons begin.
This fear surfaces in rare moments: the quiet after battle when the weapons fade, or when he is challenged by someone who has forged their own power without myth or inheritance. The idea of being stripped of his arsenal terrifies him, not because of weakness, but because he fears the truth — that without legends to mask him, he has no legend of his own.
Motivation/Goal: Jin Utsugi’s driving goal is to prove that he alone stands at the pinnacle — brighter, richer, and more exalted than anyone else alive. To him, wealth is not just about gold or treasures, but about glory, prestige, and recognition. Every legendary weapon he summons is another jewel in his crown, another symbol that the world itself bends to his supremacy. He seeks to amass influence and riches not merely for indulgence, but so his name will gleam eternally above all others, untarnished by obscurity or weakness. At the heart of this ambition lies his bond with his best friend, Kaizo Durigos. Jin sees Kaizo as both confidant and rival — the one man he allows close enough to stand beside his throne, yet also the one whose presence constantly challenges him. Jin wants Kaizo to witness his ascent, to see him surpass gods, heroes, and even fate itself, because in Kaizo’s acknowledgment lies validation. To Jin, what is the point of being king if his “brother in arms” is not there to see the crown’s brilliance? Thus, Jin’s ultimate motivation is twofold: to become the richest and most radiant sovereign of power the world has ever known, and to ensure Kaizo Durigos stands at his side as witness and challenger. He craves not just victory, but an audience to his glory, and Kaizo is the one person he refuses to leave behind — because without someone to recognize his brilliance, Jin fears his shine would mean nothing at all.

Power Information

Main ability: Archive of Thousand Kings
The Archive is a living arsenal bound to the wielder’s Bio Energy, not a vault of stored artifacts. When the user channels their lifeforce, the Archive reacts by manifesting archetypal echoes of legendary weapons — not physical items, but crystallized expressions of Bio Energy shaped by myth. Each weapon is birthed from the user’s soul, formed of condensed lifeforce that carries the memory of countless warriors. The stronger and more controlled the user’s Bio Energy, the more stable and powerful the weapon echoes become. These armaments can be launched from rifts as barrages, wielded personally, or arranged into formations. However, each manifestation drains vitality; reckless use risks burning away the user’s essence, shortening their lifespan or destabilizing their body.
Techniques
  • Radiant Arsenal: The user opens several shimmering rifts around themselves, each firing a barrage of Bio Energy–forged weapons at supersonic speeds. The more Bio Energy invested, the larger and deadlier the volley.
  • Living Bulwark: Weapons are manifested in shield-like arrays, orbiting and intercepting incoming attacks. With refined control, the user can even shape the weapons into barriers of interlocked blades or spears.
  • Echo Summon (Mythic Manifestation) Weapons are drawn from Bio Energy echoes, each bearing its mythic identity: (Can summon up to two)
Excalibur — Blade of radiant slashes, burning corruption away.
Hermes’ Boots — Winged greaves granting lightning speed and aerial freedom.
Nemean Gauntlets of Hercules — Gauntlets of monstrous strength and unbreakable defense.
Muramasa, the Blood Harvester — Cursed blade that drains lifeforce to fuel itself.
Zeus’ Bolt — A crackling thunder-spear of Bio Energy, devastating on contact.
Thor’s Hammer (Mjolnir) — A short warhammer that channels thunder; it smashes with colossal force and always returns to the wielder’s hand when thrown.
Poseidon’s Trident — A three-pronged spear infused with oceanic resonance, allowing control over water currents, pressure, and tidal surges.
Gáe Bolg — The spear doesn’t automatically pierce destiny, but its Bio Energy echo destabilizes probability around the strike. The closer the wielder is to their opponent, the more “inevitable” the blow feels — forcing opponents to expend massive effort or energy to evade. It’s not guaranteed, but it pressures foes by tilting fate in the wielder’s favor.
Achilles’ Bow — Instead of arrows that can never miss, each shot is a fate-imbued arrow that adapts mid-flight. They curve, split, or accelerate unpredictably, making them incredibly hard to dodge, but not impossible. Skilled enemies can still block, counter, or anticipate the shot, though it costs them speed and focus.
  • Sovereign Convergence (Legend’s Awakening) When overcharged with Bio Energy, each weapon reveals its ultimate archetypal ability: (Can only summon One)
Excalibur — A titanic golden beam of light, annihilating darkness and armies alike.
Hermes’ Boots — Transcendent speed, letting the wielder move faster than lightning, striking dozens of times in an instant.
Nemean Gauntlets — Radiant lion-hide armor of Bio Energy, rendering the wielder nearly indestructible for a short span.
Muramasa — Unleashes a cursed storm of vampiric cuts, siphoning vitality from all nearby, threatening to consume the wielder too.
Zeus’ Bolt — A thunderbolt of primal Olympus, erupting into a sky-splitting lightning storm that razes the battlefield; recoil threatens to shatter the wielder’s own body.
Thor’s Hammer (Mjolnir) — Summons a world-shaking tempest; when thrown and overcharged, Mjolnir becomes a comet of stormfire, detonating with apocalyptic force before returning.
Poseidon’s Trident — Calls forth a flood of Bio Energy in the form of a roaring tsunami or crushing abyssal pressure, drowning the battlefield in elemental wrath.
Gáe Bolg — Instead of auto-wounding like its mythology, Sovereign Convergence creates a “Fate Lock” zone (20 feet). Within a radius, anyone marked by the spear has their movements slowed by Bio Energy distortion, making evasion nearly impossible unless they break the zone with a surge of power or escape range. The strike feels inescapable but still allows last-resort defenses.
Achilles’ Bow — The ultimate shot is no longer absolute. Instead, the wielder condenses all their Bio Energy into a single radiant arrow that hunts its target relentlessly. It will bypass obstacles, curve, and accelerate, but it can be intercepted, deflected, or tanked by overwhelming defense. If it misses entirely, the backlash injures the wielder’s body severely.
Weakness: The Weight of Legends
Every weapon echo the Archive manifests isn’t just a tool — it is a fragment of myth, carrying the will and burden of its origin. Channeling them through Bio Energy means the wielder’s own lifeforce must align with that myth to stabilize it. The more powerful the weapon, the heavier its “legendary weight” presses on the wielder’s soul.
  • Strain of Divinity: Weapons tied to gods (Zeus’ Bolt, Mjolnir, Poseidon’s Trident) require massive lifeforce to maintain. Overuse causes the user’s body to crack with Bio Energy burns, weakening muscles, nerves, and even lifespan.
  • Clash of Wills: If the wielder’s spirit does not resonate with a weapon’s nature, its manifestation destabilizes — e.g., wielding Muramasa may slowly corrode the user’s mind with bloodlust, while Excalibur resists those without a noble heart.
  • Lifeforce Drain: Because the Archive runs on Bio Energy, reckless summoning literally shortens the wielder’s vitality. Overextension can leave the user aged, weakened, or even comatose.
  • Anchoring Delay: Summoning multiple high-tier echoes at once destabilizes the Archive, forcing a cooldown period or risking catastrophic backlash (weapons exploding into uncontrolled Bio Energy storms).
  • Counterplay: Skilled opponents can disrupt the Archive by targeting the Bio Energy channels directly — sealing, draining, or corrupting the flow to prevent stable manifestations.
  • This creates a risk/reward tradeoff: Using lower-tier or personally resonant weapons = safe, efficient. But Using divine or cursed weapons = devastatingly strong, but drains lifeforce and risks personality/physical collapse.

Background

Jin Utsugi was born in the sun-drenched islands of Okinawa, Japan, into a family that valued tradition, pride, and resilience. From a young age, he displayed a sharp mind and a natural confidence that set him apart from other children. His closest companion was Kaizo Durigos, a spirited and clever boy who quickly became Jin’s inseparable ally. Together, they explored the beaches, climbed the rocky cliffs, and participated in local festivals, always competing to outshine each other while strengthening an unbreakable bond. It was during one such festival, amid the fireworks and the vibrant chaos of music and laughter, that Jin first awakened his latent power: the Archive of Thousand Kings. As his Bio Energy surged uncontrollably, weapons of myth erupted from thin air, startling the crowd, and leaving Kaizo both terrified and awestruck — a moment that cemented their lifelong friendship and Jin’s awareness that he was destined for something far beyond ordinary life.

As Jin grew older, he delved deeper into the nature of his power, discovering that his arsenal was not merely a random collection of weapons, but echoes of myths from across human history. Through meticulous study and relentless practice, he learned to attune his lifeforce to each weapon’s legendary essence, unlocking the unique abilities of Excalibur, Gáe Bolg, Muramasa, Zeus’ Bolt, and countless others. With every summon, Jin honed not only his physical and Nexus prowess but also his capacity to adapt his own personality to the demands of each mythic echo, becoming a wielder whose presence could shift between regal nobility, ruthless cunning, or divine wrath. Over time, he mastered the delicate balance of maintaining his identity while channeling the will of legends, turning the Archive from a chaotic potential into a precise and overwhelming arsenal.

Recognizing the need to test his abilities against the world’s finest, Jin transferred to Four Elements Academy in Tokyo, a prestigious institution renowned for nurturing elite Bio Energy users. The bustling metropolis contrasted sharply with the tranquil beaches of Okinawa, but Jin thrived amidst the challenge, his ambition burning brighter in the city’s competitive environment. At the Academy, he could pursue both his obsession with mastering every mythic echo and his desire to shine above all others, all while keeping Kaizo by his side — the friend who had witnessed his first awakening and who remained the one person Jin trusted to see him at his most brilliant. Here, in the heart of Tokyo, Jin set out to prove that he was not just a boy with extraordinary power, but the sovereign of myths themselves, destined to leave a name that would outshine all others.
Trivia
1758173714100.png
  • Hobby: Collecting rare artifacts and miniature weapon replicas — he loves studying their design and imagining their mythical histories, often sketching or cataloging them in a private journal.
  • Favorite Food: Okinawan soba — a nostalgic dish that reminds him of his childhood with Kaizo, though he enjoys it with a touch of refined Tokyo-style flair.
  • Favorite Book(s): The Epic of Gilgamesh and The Iliad — stories of kings, heroes, and legendary feats resonate with his desire to command greatness and mirror the personalities of mythic weapons. He also secretly enjoys illustrated compendiums of myths and legendary arms from various cultures.
  • Favorite Pastime: Strategizing and “mock battles” with Kaizo, testing theoretical combat scenarios, or experimenting with his Bio Energy to simulate duels with mythical echoes. He enjoys perfecting his tactics almost as much as the thrill of using his powers in practice.

Maero, on the surface, appears to be an extremely shy individual built like a man’s man. He keeps primarily to himself, never speaking more than he needs to, but leaving an impact with his words when he does. His only focus thus far seems to be keeping his head down and focusing on his schooling. In truth, he has come to hate the monotony of day to day civilian life, struggling to find his purpose in it all. Many aspects of it he struggles with, especially since he had never learned to read or write, or act like a normal person in any regards. It is difficult for most others to even comprehend, having gone from being renowned as the most skilled killer in his city, to just being another cog in the machine.

Nevertheless, he makes do, though is finding difficulty making friends as he always keeps everyone at arms length. Not because he doesn’t like people, but rather, he’s afraid that one day someone will recognize him for who he is- or rather- who he was. It is that fear that secludes him from all else, sticking to the back of lines, classes, buses, and all other social aspects of his life. One wrong move and the past two years of his life that he has worked so hard to be clean for comes tumbling down into nothing and he’s locked behind prison walls for the rest of his life. Then if the Cartel had ever figured out he had abandoned them, especially out of cowardice, then all may as well be forfeit.

The only time any of the other students can see Maero truly come alive is when he is in the middle of a red light district or a fight. It is there he thrives, his adrenaline pumping, whether it is because he is passing under neon signs of sin or the bullets whizzing past his head. Even he is amazed that he has made it this far, but nevertheless, his story keeps going- he only wonders when it will one day end.

Sol Devorador constantly stays on Maero’s hip, never leaving, unless the time comes for it. When that time does arrive, all Maero must do is pull back the hammer, letting the cylinder begin to charge up. Inside of it, a miniature nuclear reaction begins stripping the naturally building hydrogen gas, ionizing it. In just a few seconds, it transforms into superheated plasma, prepared to be unleashed like lightning in a bottle. When Maero pulls the trigger, the plasma is pushed forward from the cylinder through the barrel, which acts as a magnetic accelerator that coats the plasma in a thin magnetic bubble. This bubble restricts the plasma as it flies through the air, only dispersing when it comes into contact with something solid, typically reducing the target into nothingness.

As powerful as Sol Devorador might seem, however, it is difficult to use continuously. Even though he does not have to constantly reload due to the constant build-up of gas in the specialized cylinder. That is because it is sensitive to overheating, which will cause the internal mechanisms to critically fail, possibly even combust. That is why cooling ducts and exhaust vents have been placed across the pistol’s frame. When the system detects that the weapon is close to overheating, it releases heated and pressurized gas outward like steam, capable of causing damage to anyone up-close. This does not mean that the ducts themselves can be constantly relied on either, as continuous use will lead the cooling ducts and exhaust vents to melt, ruining the pistol altogether.

Mictlán: Maero has access to his own personal pocket dimension known as Mictlán, however, he can only access it through the usage of shadows. Mictlán itself is nothing special on the surface, an empty, stygian landscape. It is lit up by beams of light shining through its ceiling like crepuscular rays, a reflection of the different entrances/exits, which Maero can gaze out of like windows. So far, Maero is the only one capable of using it, doing so for stealth, storage, and combat as it is the same dimension no matter where he is in the world. Other than its mystical nature, Mictlán seems to have similar, if not the exact same physics as Earth and always maintains a cool climate.

Background

Maero Santiago Rivera was born on August 13th, 2209 on the outskirts of Tijuana, Mexico in the province of Baja California to María and Mateo Rivera. He was the eighth of nine children and grew up in poverty in a single-family house. Unlike most others in the modern world, he was unable to attend public school, instead working with his father in fields and factories. At the age of six, Maero nearly died of bronchitis due to an accident in a chemical plant, and shortly after developed pulmonary fibrosis from its severity. This led him to work alongside his mother for the next two years, learning to play instruments, weave intricate patterns, and lay mosaic tiles.

All of this changed when Maero turned eight, however, when the Tijuana Cartel and the Guardia Nacional confronted each other in his portion of the city. The spectacle quickly transformed into a massacre as the two sides entered civilian homes for cover. It all culminated when the Guardia Nacional realised they were losing and raised a helicopter in the air equipped with a state of the art rotary autocannon. In no time at all, the entire street was flattened, leaving only a handful of survivors in its wake. One of them just so happened to be Maero, who upon climbing out of the ruins of his family home, found only himself and his six year old brother, Rafael, alive.

The life that Maero began to live on the street would eventually harden the brothers. The two of them did whatever they were able to survive, when they were bullied they fought back ruthlessly, and when they were hungry they stole what they needed. In the instances they were able to perform small jobs for people, such as cleaning, they took whatever looked expensive. Yet when Maero found a nice family willing to take one of them in and let them attend school for the first time, Maero pushed Rafael forward, and continued his life on the streets alone.

It is here that Maero began to fall into the more criminal aspects of life. He had stolen a sandblaster from a carpenter and hid it in the abandoned building he called his home. He then got the idea to steal tombstones, sandblast their inscriptions, and resell them to poorer families and began doing so to make money. That was, until, Maero got caught taking the tombstone of a member of the Tijuana Cartel and was subsequently kidnapped by them. After hearing why he had done so, they began to employ him, finding his knack for criminal acts useful.

His first few jobs in the Cartel were easy, delivering drugs to various portions of the city, then returning with the money. It began to escalate quickly after he had shown they could trust him and they began to send him through small tunnels near the border. There he climbed through the tunnels, crossing the border into the United States, and sold drugs on the other side for far more than what he did in Tijuana itself. Though there were a few hiccups along the way, the worst that ever occurred is when he was kidnapped by a rival cartel, but managed to escape by breaking his own wrists to escape the shackles.

At the age of thirteen, Maero became an honorary member of the Cartel and given his first weapon, then schooled on the ways of kidnapping people who owed money or whose family could pay a ransom. It seemed he had a knack for violence, because on his first mission, he managed to earn the equivalent of 100,000 USD by kidnapping a small-time lawyer from a neighboring city. In no less than a year, between selling drugs and kidnapping alone, Maero managed to earn the Cartel over 2,000,000 USD. Realizing himself that he had potential, Maero made a request to the Cartel’s leader, Emmanuel Vargas, to let him do more.

It is here his life took a drastic and dark turn as Vargas planned to turn the profitable young man into a killer. He had him professionally trained in the ways of murder by Ex-Military Veterans from across the world that had joined the Cartel. His first target had been a Judge who denied one of Vargas’ bribes, leading to him being a target, in which Maero broke into his house and killed the man in his bathroom. Shortly after, the jobs kept coming, and Maero just kept killing. His most infamous form of execution was making people dig their own graves promising them a quick death, then breaking their arms and legs, so that he may bury them alive. All of his kills earned him the moniker El Barquero, The Ferryman, inspired by Chairon of Greek Mythos.

Maero was in Peñasco when he turned eighteen, celebrating his birthday alongside a few others, when a call came in from Vargas requesting everyone back. He informed them that the United States Government had been targeting the Cartel after Vargas made some power-hungry moves behind the scenes. Shortly after, a raid occurred on the bar Maero was in, between the few members of the Cartel and the Guardia Nacional. It reminded him of when he had first lost his family, and in a moment of cowardice, he ran, hearing the chopper that gunned down his family in his head. He did not know how far he had run, his legs carried him out of Peñasco and into the Altar Desert.

It is inside this desert that Maero was at his lowest, not only mentally, but physically as well. For the Altar Desert had become a haven for Voidborn Creatures, stalking its sands, and he had to be careful. With hardly any food or water to rely on, and making a fire being absolute death, Maero trekked slowly across the desert. For forty days and forty nights, he survived on the bare minimum, but on the fortieth night he had been found. Voidborn swept across the sands, and realizing that this was it, Maero raised his pistol in defiance. That was, until he had fallen into darkness, in the most literal sense.

At his lowest, Maero discovered that he had a unique power, one he believed to be born from his own cowardice. It let him hide in the shadows, live there even, if he ever so wished. It is here that he hid in the shadows until all of the Voidborn had left, and although it felt like eternity, when he stepped out into the blazing heat of the sun he was free. It is at this point he realized, if he went back to Vargas he was dead, but if he left everything behind he would survive. So taking in a deep breath for the first time, one that wasn’t painful, Maero turned his back on the Cartel, Mexico, and everything else he had ever known.

He fled to Mexicali, passing the border through an old tunnel, entering Arizona land. He then did his best to follow along Interstate Eight from a distance, using what cash he had left to survive on food, and eventually came upon San Diego. From there he went to the port, hired whoever was going off the continent, and was placed inside a cargo container fleeing eastward. It is here that Maero was able to sit and dwell on everything that had occurred, all the wrongs he had done, and the little that he had done right. He had committed every cardinal sin known to God and Man, sold people for money, killed people for it, fed habits that ruined families and unleashed untold violence onto innocents. How many children did he turn into orphans? How many were doomed to grow up just as he had? He did not want to know, because in reality, it was probably too many to count.

Just as he debated ending it all in the Cargo Container, it opened, and Maero found himself in Okinawa. From there, he immediately forged documents proving newfound citizenship, quickly coming up with a story to match. He then began various odd jobs, as he had learned in Mexico, until he had saved up enough to get an apartment near Tokyo and became a factory worker all over again. It may have stayed that way as well if it were not for an advertisement he saw referencing the Nexus Institution, where one could learn to control their powers, and although he was doubtful at first, Maero took the step. In no time at all he was accepted as a first year student despite having just become twenty and is now where he resides.

Only time will tell whether his actions in the past will affect his future, but he will try his best to keep it secret, because that is all that is keeping him safe.

Main Ability: Voidborne Blood - During Yotohime’s pregnancy, Enzo’s human blood was warped beyond recognition by Kyaro’s Voidborne essence, becoming something neither mortal nor stable. Unlike his twin, Enzo’s corruption birthed the void art of psychokinesis, a terrifying ability that allows him to bend the world with thought alone, shattering steel, twisting gravity, or crushing minds under invisible weight. His blood no longer flows like a human’s; it resonates like a living storm of willpower, lashing out at those who come too close.
Techniques
Psychic Aura: Enzo releases an invisible but crushing aura of void-infused psychic energy that radiates from his body. Within this field, enemies feel their movements grow heavy, their weapons sluggish, and their thoughts clouded. The aura distorts gravity, bends sound, and even causes hallucinations in weaker minds. It doubles as a defense, deflecting projectiles midair or slowing down incoming strikes. The stronger his focus, the more oppressive and suffocating the aura becomes.

Psychic Energy: Enzo converts his corrupted blood into raw psychic force, manifesting as blasts, beams, or crushing waves of invisible power. Unlike normal telekinesis, this ability carries the voidborne's chaotic imprint, t can ripple through flesh and bone, rattling internal organs, or even collapse structures. Concentrated strikes can shatter concrete walls or pulverize armored foes, while wide releases can fling squads of enemies aside like ragdolls. The attacks appear as distorted ripples in the air, bending light before exploding outward.

Telekinetic Enhanced Conditioning: By channeling psychokinesis inward, Enzo reinforces his body beyond natural limits. His speed, strength, and reflexes surge as telekinetic force propels his movements and cushions his impacts. He can leap impossible distances, sprint faster than human perception, and strike with blows that feel like being hit by a wrecking ball. Wounds close faster as his blood subconsciously braces torn flesh with psychic reinforcement, making him incredibly hard to bring down. In combat, his fighting style becomes a blur of impossible agility and devastating physical force.

Psionic Shapeshifting: Enzo’s void-tainted blood allows his psychokinesis to extend into his own body, warping flesh and bone through sheer mental will. Unlike Cairo’s grotesque physical mutations, Enzo’s changes are sleek, additional limbs made of solidified force, or shifting armored plates across his body. At peak focus, he can create an entirely new battle form where his physical and psychic states merge, resembling a Voidborne entity of pure willpower. Each transformation amplifies his psychic reach, making him nearly untouchable to those who rely on brute force.

Weakness
* Enzo’s abilities draw directly from his mind and void-tainted blood. Overuse causes migraines, nosebleeds, disorientation, and eventually unconsciousness. In extreme cases, his mind can shatter temporarily, leaving him vulnerable or even causing his powers to lash out uncontrollably.

* Enzo’s blood vibrates with void energy. If he pushes too hard (especially with large-scale abilities), the void resonates back into him, causing seizures, warped visions, or temporary paralysis. This makes prolonged combat dangerous unless carefully controlled.

* Large-scale feats—collapsing buildings, crushing squads at once, or maintaining full-body psionic shapeshifting—burn through his stamina and mental reserves rapidly. The longer he sustains them, the faster his body deteriorates, sometimes leaving him drained for days.

Background

1758737443652.png

Family: Kyaro Saja (Father/Dead) | Yotohime Kidozaku (Mother/Alive) | Cairo Saja (Twin Brother/Alive)
Swiffy (Adopted Little Brother) | Jennie (Adopted Older Sister)

Enzo Saja was born first, though by only a handful of minutes. Still, even from the beginning he carried himself with the weight of an elder brother. If Cairo was born beneath the eyes of their mother, trained to pierce illusions and sense the hidden, Enzo was born beneath their father’s shadow. His cradle was the courtyard where fists met flesh, his lullabies the grunts of sparring and the crack of bone against bone.

Kyaro Saja wasted no time shaping Enzo into a weapon. He demanded not only strength but resilience: to rise after every fall, to sharpen pain into discipline, to meet the world with unflinching fists. Where Cairo was taught patience, Enzo was taught punishment. His father saw in him a will that refused to bend, and so he tempered it with blood and sweat. By the time they were sparring as toddlers, Enzo charged forward with raw instinct while Cairo danced around him, the perfect mirror of body versus perception.

At six years old, Enzo’s own gift awakened. Unlike Cairo, whose blood writhed with Voidborne hunger, Enzo’s power was psychokinesis—force of mind that strengthened flesh. It came suddenly, a spark that turned his body into a living weapon. Punches cracked wood, jumps soared too high, his sprint carved grooves into the dirt. He wasn’t bending spoons or hurling objects with thought—he was bending himself, turning his will into physical mastery. Every muscle moved like it was supercharged, every strike was backed by invisible momentum.

“Your body,” Kyaro told him, “is no different from your mind. If you command it, it will obey. But lose control, and it will destroy you.”

And so Enzo trained to walk the line between fury and focus.

When their mother vanished—gone behind the mask of abandonment—Enzo raged. He destroyed walls with his fists, spit curses into the night, and swore he needed no one. Yet even in anger, he never let go of Cairo. If his brother turned inward and drowned in sorrow, Enzo made himself the wall to stand against it. He carried the fury for them both, determined to keep the Void from swallowing Cairo whole.

Their father’s death in Osaka hardened that vow. The Rift tore their world apart, and Enzo’s psychokinesis flared wildly as he dragged Cairo to safety, burning his legs and lungs with effort he should not have survived. When the smoke cleared, the brothers were orphans.

The streets of Osaka became their battlefield. Alongside Takashi Fushiguro—the scrappy, sharp-eyed orphan who became their third brother—they forged themselves through hunger and bruises. Enzo fought for scraps, brawled with older kids and gangs, bloodied his knuckles until Cairo pulled him back. If Cairo survived by perception, Enzo survived by fists. Together with Fushiguro, they were inseparable: three against the world, brothers in everything but blood.

But Enzo was not just fists. Music found him too, though differently than Cairo. Where his brother hummed melodies and tapped rhythms, Enzo spit bars under broken streetlamps, his verses harsh and jagged. He loved the grit—the rhythm of survival turned into language, the way rapping battles felt like fights without fists. At first, he lived for cyphers and contests, chasing the high of proving himself. Later, as he matured, he leaned toward writing, crafting lyrics that carried his scars and his fury like sharpened blades.

When adoption tore them from Osaka, Enzo resisted less than Cairo—though his heart still burned for Fushiguro. To him, Cairo’s anguish was enough to bear; Enzo swallowed his own pain and chose to be the steady one. Tokyo gave them stability they had never known: Jennie, their starbright older sister, already chasing stages; Swiffy, the younger brother who idolized them both. Their new parents were ordinary, but their love was real. For Enzo, it wasn’t freedom—it was a chance to keep Cairo safe.

At fifteen, when Cairo’s path bent toward music, Enzo followed. Not for fame, not for lights, but for blood loyalty. Cairo had Z3IRØ; Enzo joined not as the frontman but as the backbone. His psychokinetic-boosted movement gave their choreography a thunderous edge, while his verses brought grit to their sound. Where Cairo burned like wildfire, Enzo was the iron weight beneath it, the rhythm grounding the chaos. Fans quickly noticed the contrast: Cairo the storm, Enzo the stone.

On stage, his role was often backup rapper, but his presence could not be ignored. Every time Cairo soared, Enzo’s verses reminded the crowd that fire is only fire because stone holds it in place. And offstage, when industry vultures circled, Enzo was the one standing in their way, the older brother who would always swing first.

Jennie teased him endlessly for being the “grumpy rapper in the back,” Swiffy called him a superhero, and Cairo simply leaned on him in silence—knowing Enzo would always catch him. Even Reina, when she entered their world, earned Enzo’s reluctant respect. He didn’t tease like Jennie or gush like Swiffy. He simply nodded once and said, “If you hurt him, I’ll know.” That was blessing enough.

Now, with Z3IRØ on the rise and Stardust shining as their rival, Enzo remains what he has always been: the wall, the fist, the anchor. Cairo may be the face, the storm that dazzles the crowd, but Enzo is the brother who bleeds quietly in the background, psychokinetically enhanced bones holding the group steady. He spits his verses with fire when called upon, writes lines in the shadows, and carries himself like a man still fighting every alley brawl he survived in Osaka.

He never needed the spotlight. He only ever needed to make sure Cairo could stand in it without falling.

Basic Information

Character Name: Trinity Kagari

Age: 24

Origin: Tokyo, Japan

Birthday: Sept 11th 2205

Gender: Female

Height: 5’2

Weight: 220lbs

Personality Type:
Trinity is the type who never seems stressed, moving through life with an easy smile and a laid-back vibe. Quick with a joke or a playful comment, she doesn’t take things too seriously and always finds a way to lighten the mood. She loves simple pleasures; good food, good company, and a sunny day. She isn’t the type to get caught up in drama, in fact she openly avoids it. Even when things get hectic, she has a calm, steady way of handling it, reminding everyone that life’s a lot easier when you just breathe and roll with the punches. She has a curious streak that keeps her wandering into new experiences just for the fun of it. Either way whether it’s trying weird snacks from a corner store, learning a random hobby on a whim, or tagging along on someone else’s wild idea, she’s always game to see what happens. It’s so bad she has a promiscuous side to go along with it, her friend usually stops her from cheating but that’s only sometimes. She treats mistakes like funny stories waiting to be told later and isn’t shy about laughing at herself. If there is any flaw most noticeable outside of being a pervert about her personality it would be the crazy streak, at least that’s what Jix calls it. The girl can be a bit wild, well not a bit, like a lot, and that edgy killer side of her only adds to her overall easy going spirit, adventurous, sexual and bubbly demeanor.

IMG_2693.jpeg

Moral Alignment: Chaotic good

Greatest Fear: Losing her boyfriend.

Motivation/Goal: Have fun.

Allies/Friends: The Academy

Relationships:

Jennie Takeda - Best Friend

When Trinity first met Jennie, she thought their connection would be nothing more than surface-level banter. Playful compliments tossed back and forth. Jennie would joke about her curves, and she’d shoot back with sly remarks about Jennie’s fox-like charm. At the time, Trinity saw her as a rival in allure, someone she respected but refused to admit could match her shine. But somewhere in those teasing exchanges, a deeper rhythm started forming. Over time, Jennie became more than just a partner in banter; she became the sister Trinity never knew she needed. They laughed until dawn over secrets no one else would hear, held each other up when life tried to knock them down, and moved through the world like a matched set.

Jixx - Boyfriend

Trinity and Jixx’s relationship began at a charity concert, where she was volunteering to manage stage setups with her elastic powers. Jix, already a rising K-pop star at just 20, was captivated when he saw her stretching across the stage to stop a falling speaker midair. Their playful spark was immediate, he teased her that with her flexibility and energy she’d make the perfect cat. Over time, their connection grew deeper once they realized they were both going to the same Academy: Jix admired her carefree, bubbly attitude that kept him grounded despite the chaos of fame, and Trinity adored the way he made her feel seen and cherished, not just for her powers but for the person she was beneath them.

Power Information

Main power:

Stretchy Stretchy (Toon Elasticity) - Her physiology is a living paradox of biology and cartoon physics, a body of liquid-rubber elasticity that bends all limits of shape and form. Every cell can stretch, compress, and reform endlessly, giving her complete mastery over her size, density, and appearance. She can elongate her arms like ropes to strike across buildings, flatten herself paper-thin to slide under doors, or inflate her body into balloon-like forms that float or absorb massive shockwaves. She can pack her mass into a limb until it hits with the force of a wrecking ball, or whip out strikes that crack like a snapped cable. Beyond combat, her elasticity fuels near-perfect shapeshifting; she can mimic the look, voice, and mannerisms of another person, animals, and objects down to fine detail. Her cartoon-physics durability stretches this even further. Bullets sink in only to pop out harmlessly, blades bend as they cut, explosions squash her flat but leave her bouncing back whole, and falls from skyscrapers turn her into a stretched-out parachute before springing back.

IMG_2703.jpeg

Sub Power:

Morphic Vitality (Pinnacle Condition) -
Her body has surpassed the ordinary limits of age, sickness, and frailty, leaving her in a state of lasting vitality and balance. Time does not diminish her strength or appearance, and her form naturally resists toxins and disease. Her body existing in a state of constant elasticity, gives her resilience against damage that would devastate ordinary flesh. Blades may slice, bullets may strike, and even explosions may engulf her, but rather than tearing her apart, her form bends, stretches, and disperses the force. Injuries don’t vanish instantly, she can be stunned, scattered, or forced into painful contortions but her physiology naturally pulls itself back together over time. While she is far tougher than most, prolonged abuse, overwhelming force, or extreme environments can still wear her down. What defines her durability is not invulnerability, but a rubber-like adaptability that lets her survive impacts and conditions that would break others.
IMG_2700.jpeg

The Weaknesses

Weakness 1 - Extreme Cold & Electricity

While normal weapons bounce off her, the right conditions can lock her down. Extreme cold makes her body stiff and brittle, freezing her elasticity until she’s vulnerable to shattering or restraint. High-voltage electricity scrambles the bioelectric signals that guide her shapeshifting, leaving her spasming or paralyzed. These are not everyday hazards, but if an enemy learns of them, they become her most dangerous counters.

Weakness 2: Chemical Breakdown

Her unique biology can resist most natural toxins, but certain synthetic solvents and compounds are her kryptonite. Acids, binding agents, or engineered serums can interfere with the proteins that keep her flexible, leaving her body sticky, fragile, or sluggish to regenerate. These substances are rare and difficult to produce, but once someone knows the formula, they hold a weapon capable of cutting through her invulnerability.

Weakness 3: Regular Clothes

Regular clothes don’t stretch with her or change with her, she usually mimics clothes to get around this one.

Techniques

Copy Cat - Trinity alters her body’s shape, size, or proportions at will, molding herself into entirely new forms. This allows her to mimic appearances, disguise herself, or reconfigure her limbs into useful shapes. While she can’t copy supernatural abilities through this, she can impersonate physical features with near-perfect accuracy.

Perfect Stretch - Trinity stretches her limbs or torso to extreme lengths, whether to strike from afar, whip around obstacles, or springboard herself across the battlefield.

Steel Body Mode - By redistributing her body’s mass, Trinity makes parts of herself lightweight and flexible, or dense and heavy. A hand can strike with the force of steel, or a body part can become feather-light for evasive maneuvers.

Counter - Trinity’s greatest utility technique, her elastic body naturally absorbs and disperses impacts. Bullets, strikes, or falls bounce off or ricochet. With a little focus, she can redirect stored force outward, releasing it in a spring-like counterattack.

Toon Logic - Her powers bend the rules of physics on herself in an exaggerated, playful way. She can flatten herself to slip under doors, inflate to bounce back attacks, or coil like a spring to launch herself and others. This is her most versatile, open-ended application.

Background

Trinity was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, the only child of a graceful ballet dancer and a sharp-minded engineer. Her mother filled their home with poise, discipline, and the beauty of a warm living space, while her father filled it with the hum of tools and the smell of solder, always working on some mechanical curiosity. Both adored their daughter but in different ways. Her mother tried to teach her elegance and restraint, while her father encouraged curiosity and experimentation. He often told her, “Nothing is unfixable, just flexible,” a phrase that would become almost prophetic as her powers emerged.

That moment came when she was nine years old. A neighbor’s kitten had climbed onto a balcony ledge and couldn’t get down. Trinity leaned out desperately to reach it, when her arm suddenly stretched several meters farther than it should have. She laughed in amazement even as the kitten mewed in her grasp, but her parents were stunned. Her mother gasped and rushed her back inside, while her father crouched down, eyes wide with wonder, already muttering questions about how her body could do such a thing. While her mother worried about what this meant for their daughter’s future, her father saw possibility. Together, they resolved to protect her, keeping her gift a secret while encouraging her to explore it in private. Her mother emphasized control, trying to teach her to carry herself with grace even when her powers acted up, while her father tinkered with fabrics and formulas, determined to one day give her something that could match her unusual nature.

As she grew older, Trinity’s playful energy only made her powers harder to hide. Torn clothes, accidental stretches, and moments of cartoonish contortions became part of her daily life, but she laughed them off with her bubbly charm. At 21, Nexus Academy scouts found her, impressed by her unusual physiology and the potential of her gifts. For Trinity, the decision to attend was easy, the Academy wasn’t just a school, it was a place where she could finally stop hiding and embrace who she was. Training wasn’t always smooth, but through trial, failure, and endless experimentation, she created her own set of techniques. She named them in ways that reflected her playful personality: Copy Cat for her shapeshifting, born from her habit of pranking classmates by mimicking their looks; Perfect Stretch for her elastic reach, a phrase she shouted in jest during sparring that stuck; Steel Body Mode, inspired by her father’s lessons about strength in flexibility, where she condensed her mass to strike with crushing force; Counter, developed after realizing her elastic body naturally absorbed hits and could snap them back, named for the string game she played as a child; and finally Toon Logic, the wildest of her abilities, where she bent logic for herself with cartoonish twists and playful physics.

Her path crossed with Jix at a charity concert when she was 22, helping backstage with stage setups. She caught a falling speaker with an effortless stretch, and he couldn’t stop staring. Jix, a young K-pop star known for his love of cats, teased her immediately that her powers practically demanded a cat persona, she found it funny but in the end didn’t pay it mind. For the first time, Trinity began to see her powers not just as something to manage, but as something she could have fun with and own.

Character Name: Jennie Takeda
Age: 22 Years Old
Origin: Tokyo, Japan
Birthday: April 5th, 2207
Gender: Female
Height: 5 Foot 3 Inches
Weight: 230 Lbs

Personality Type: Jennie's presence is magnetic. With her striking beauty and foxlike allure, she could easily come across as untouchable, someone admired from afar but never truly known. Yet those who step close quickly discover the truth: Jennie is warm, caring, and unusually sweet, a woman whose heart shines brighter than her appearance. She has an instinct to nurture, often putting others before herself, whether it’s cheering on a struggling friend, lending an ear to someone who feels unheard, or offering encouragement wrapped in her signature playful charm. At the same time, Jennie is fiery; her energy burns like a flame that never dies out. She laughs boldly, speaks with passion, and carries herself with the confidence of someone who refuses to be dimmed by the weight of the world. This duality, sweet and fiery makes her both approachable and intimidating, a paradox that draws people in without them realizing why. Despite her charisma and natural magnetism, Jennie isn’t arrogant. In fact, she’s remarkably humble for someone so breathtaking, often brushing off compliments with a playful smile or redirecting the spotlight to her friends. She’d rather celebrate others than dwell on her own allure, which only deepens the respect and admiration people feel for her. However, there’s a side to Jennie that only her closest companion, Trinity, knows which is the secret depths of her personality. Beneath the sweetness and fiery energy lies a private, freaky streak for the person she loves and plans to be a wife to, a side of her that’s bold, mischievous, and uninhibited. She never lets it show in public, preferring to guard that part of herself, but in moments with Trinity when she speaks about Cairo; whether through confessions, daring jokes, or reckless adventures, this hidden fire comes alive. It’s a reminder that Jennie is more layered than she appears, her charm not just born of beauty or kindness, but of complexity and honesty.

Moral Alignment: Chaotic, Neutral

Greatest Fear: Beneath Jennie's confident charm lies a heart tangled with quiet fears. More than anything, she dreads losing Ahri, the sister she chose, and Cairo, the man she silently loves. The thought that her feelings could shatter their trust, or turn others against her, weighs heavily on her soul. She fears being branded a homewrecker, someone who destroys happiness rather than brings it, and so she hides her emotions behind laughter and grace. But deeper still is her greatest fear, the possibility of losing everyone close to her, of being left alone in a world that feels colder without their warmth. It is this fear that chains her heart, keeping her love unspoken, even as it aches to be free.

Motivation/Goal: Unknown
Allies/Friends: Cairo & Z3IRØ | Ahri & Stardust
Relationships: Jixx | Trinity | Ahri | Cairo | Reina | Yume

Jixx (Bestfriend/Brother): Jixx and Jennie's story began when they were children, only five years old, their paths crossing in the innocence of youth. What started as friendship quickly grew into something more, as they spent their childhood side by side; playing, arguing, protecting one another, and sharing the kind of secrets only kids dare to whisper. By the time they reached their teens, their connection had evolved into something far greater than simple camaraderie. They weren’t just childhood friends anymore; they had become siblings in spirit. Jennie was always the fiery one while Jixx carried a steadier presence, sometimes stubborn, sometimes quiet, but always dependable. They balanced each other perfectly. If Jennie's antics got her in trouble, Jixx was the one who’d pull her out, or even take the fall sometimes. And if Jixx doubted himself, Jennie was the one who stood in his corner. Their bond only deepened with age. They celebrated each other’s victories, carried each other’s burdens, and fought as fiercely as any real brother and sister would. By the time Jennie was in her twenties, no one who saw them together ever doubted the truth: they weren’t bound by blood, but by something just as strong. Around the age of 20, Jennie noticed something that Jixx himself tried to hide—his glances, his pauses, the way his voice softened whenever her best friend, Trinity, was near. For all of Jennie's teasing nature, she treated this discovery with care. She never pushed him outright, but she gently encouraged him, nudging him in Trinity’s direction in her own sly, playful way. “You should talk to her more,” she’d say with a smirk, “I think she likes strong guys who don’t hide behind silence.” Behind her playful tone was genuine support because as much as Jennie treasured Jixx as her brother, she also wanted him to find happiness. Now at 22, Jennie watches the bond between Jixx and Trinity with quiet pride. She never makes it about herself, never asks for thanks, because for her, being the sister in his life means lifting him up even when he doesn’t notice. Outside of Trinity, Jixx is also the only one who knows her feelings towards Cairo.

Trinity Kagari (Bestfriend): Jennie and Trinity’s bond began in the most surface-level of ways, mutual attraction to each other’s looks. At first, their friendship seemed shallow, built on compliments. Jennie teasing about Trinity’s curves while Trinity smirked back about Jennie's enchanting eyes. They admired one another as rivals of allure, neither willing to admit the other’s charm equaled their own. But beneath those flirty jabs and knowing smirks, a true bond began to form. Their shared love for animals, Jennie's heart melting at every fox she encountered and Trinity’s soft smile whenever a stray cat curled around her ankles became the first thread tying them closer. Soon, their friendship grew into something that felt like a sisterhood. They learned each other’s rhythms, and picked each other up in ways no one else could. Their closeness became legendary among those around them. Whether it was walking arm in arm through a crowded street, teasing each other endlessly, or sharing secrets late into the night, their connection radiated an energy that was both enviable and unbreakable. They weren’t just two beautiful women anymore, they were inseparable partners in life’s chaos. So much that Jennie was happy when Trinity found Jixx, and vise versa when Jennie took a liking to Cairo.

Jennie (K-pop Sister): Jennie's first real meeting with Ahri was through the randomness of selection. Both young, radiant, and undeniably captivating, they found themselves standing side by side as new trainees for the rising girl group Starlight. At first, it was awkward; the unspoken pressure of competition hung in the air. But instead of rivals, they saw reflections of each other’s determination. Jennie admired Ahri's effortless stage presence, while Ahri was drawn to Jennie's sly, foxlike charm. Days of shared rehearsals and sleepless nights forged their connection. When the exhaustion hit hardest, they leaned on one another; Jennie's playful teasing pulling Ahri out of her stress, and Ahri's calm encouragement grounding Jennie's restless energy. eventually became sisters in all but blood, unshakable in an industry that constantly tried to pit girls against each other. Even when fate pulled them onto different paths, Ahri creating her own group, Stardust; she never once considered leaving Jennie behind. In her heart, Jennie wasn’t just another trainee she’d met by chance. She was family, a partner in ambition and in life’s chaos. Ahri made it clear: where she went, she wanted Jennie to follow. It was more than loyalty; it was trust, built through countless hours of sweat, laughter, and whispered dreams. But there was one truth Jennie never let slip, one secret that weighed on her heart. Behind all the smiles and sisterhood, she carried a quiet love for Ahri's adoptive younger brother, Cairo. Every time his name was mentioned, Jennie felt her carefully built composure falter. Yet she kept it hidden, never daring to break the bond she cherished with Ahri.

Cairo (Crush/Close Friend): Jennie's connection to Cairo was never something she planned, nor something she ever dared to chase openly. Their bond was an accident of circumstance, forged through her closeness with Ahri. Because Ahri trusted Jennie like a sister, Cairo naturally became part of her world too. At first, it was just casual interactions, passing conversations in practice rooms, shared meals when Ahri brought the three of them together, quiet moments where Cairo would simply listen while the girls vented about the pressures of training and performing. But over time, the small things built into something deeper even though there was always a wall between them, one Jennie never tried to cross. Cairo already had a girlfriend, someone gentle, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. Unlike the usual fleeting romances that surrounded idols and rising stars, this woman treated Cairo with respect, warmth, and sincerity. Jennie could never bring herself to resent her, let alone disrupt what they had. Instead, she admired her, even respected her, which only made Jennie's hidden feelings heavier. She chose silence, believing that her heart wasn’t worth hurting someone so good. Yet Cairo’s presence made silence difficult. He never once called her his sister, nor suggested she was anything more, but his actions always lingered in that gray area. He complimented her beauty effortlessly, never with exaggeration, but with honesty that struck deeper than applause. “You’re glowing tonight,” he’d say with a calm sincerity, or, “No one else makes that outfit look alive like you.” For Jennie, those words were like sparks she forced herself to smother. And when no one else was there, Cairo was. He defended her when others whispered criticism, encouraged her when doubts crept in, and treated her as though she were far more than just “Ahri's best friend.” That unwavering support made him impossible to ignore, even when her conscience told her to keep her distance. So Jennie stayed back not because her feelings weren’t real, but because she valued respect and loyalty above selfish desire. Loving Cairo from the shadows was painful, yet she accepted it as her truth. The foxlike playfulness in her demeanor hid the ache she carried, and though she never confessed, she cherished the bond they had. Cairo never knew the depth of her feelings, and Jennie never crossed the line, content to stand just close enough to feel his warmth, but never so close as to steal what wasn’t hers.

Reina (Secret Girlfriend): Jennie never thought Reina would be the one to share her secret, let alone carry it alongside her. For years, she had buried her feelings for Cairo beneath layers of smiles and loyalty, convinced that silence was the only way to protect him and to protect herself. But Reina saw through it. She noticed the pauses in Jennie’s laughter, the way her gaze lingered just a little too long when Cairo spoke, the unspoken weight that clung to her whenever his name came up. When Reina finally addressed it, there was no anger and no bitterness, only quiet understanding. And when Jennie admitted it aloud, halting and afraid, she was met with something she hadn’t expected: a confession of Reina’s own. Cairo wasn’t just hers to hold in her heart; he had become theirs. That truth could have torn them apart, but instead it bound them together. They became each other’s safeguard, a promise that their feelings would never be used to hurt him or each other. They whispered their fears in late-night conversations, admitting how much they wanted to tell him, yet how terrified they were of what might follow. Would it confuse him? Break his trust? Or worse, fracture the delicate balance the three of them already shared? Jennie respected Reina’s gentle strength, and Reina admired Jennie’s honesty, but both carried the same quiet hesitation: Cairo was too important to risk losing. For now, their feelings remained unspoken in his presence, tucked carefully behind smiles and laughter. Together, they decided to wait. To protect him, to protect themselves, and to protect the bond they all held so close. The day might come when the truth could be spoken; but until then, silence was the shield they both clung to, even as it quietly ached within them.

Yume (4th Woman Crush): At first, Jennie’s view of Yume was anything but warm. From the moment Yume arrived at Nexus Academy, she carried herself with a brazen confidence that made Jennie’s chest tighten with unease. It wasn’t simply that Yume was bold, it was how she directed that boldness at Cairo. Where Jennie had always walked carefully around her own feelings, tucking them away out of loyalty to Reina, and where Reina herself approached Cairo with quiet sincerity, Yume made no attempt at restraint. She spoke as though Cairo already belonged to her, tossing out remarks that made Jennie’s blood run hot. “He’ll come around. He always does.” “Don’t worry, Cairo knows where he belongs.” Even though Yume had only just stepped into their world, she acted like she had already claimed him. To Jennie, it felt like a threat not only to her fragile, unspoken bond with Cairo, but to the delicate balance she and Reina shared in protecting that bond together. It wasn’t just jealousy; it was fear. Fear that someone so forward and unapologetic could bulldoze through everything she and Reina had quietly built over years of patience, trust, and restraint. Yume’s words stung because they were the opposite of Jennie’s own, words she had never dared to say aloud. But time has a way of peeling back the layers people wear. As days turned into months within the Academy, Jennie began to see more than just the sharp edges Yume flaunted. Beneath her bold remarks was someone who genuinely cared, someone who fought just as fiercely for her place by Cairo’s side as Jennie & Reina did. Yume’s confidence wasn’t arrogance for the sake of pride, it was simply how she was with everyone, including her twin sister. The turning point came not in a single moment, but through countless little ones: missions where Yume had her back without hesitation, late-night study sessions where her laughter filled the silence, and even the way she spoke about Cairo when she thought no one was listening, less possessive and more protective. Jennie realized that Yume’s brashness was her armor, her way of masking the same vulnerable longing Jennie herself had always kept hidden. That understanding softened Jennie’s resentment, reshaping it into something unexpected. Instead of seeing Yume as a rival, she began to see her as another piece of the whole. The thought startled her at first, but eventually settled into clarity: she wouldn’t be upset if Yume became part of their bond. If anything, she could see how Yume’s fiery spirit might fit alongside her own quiet ache and Reina’s gentle steadiness, completing something none of them could create alone. Now, Jennie still feels the sting of Yume’s teasing words from time to time, but she no longer carries the same bitterness. Instead, she sees a woman who could stand beside her, not against her. In her heart, she knows this: if Cairo’s path were to expand to include Yume as well, Jennie wouldn’t fight it. She would welcome it, not as a defeat, but as another way their story could grow.

Alias: To Be Determined
Affiliation: Stardust Visual, Dancer, Singer and Rapper | Nexus Academy
Mentor: Tessa Koyami (Science Major)
Rival/Enemies: None At The Moment

Class: To Be Determined
Rank: To Be Determined
Equipment: Astral Fiber | X-Block 18 | Skateboard

Equipment Description: Astral Fiber is an extraordinary, semi-organic material tied to the Takeda blood that glows faintly with an opalescent shimmer, like liquid starlight trapped in a flexible lattice. Its surface appears smooth and reflective, yet subtly textured, giving it a sense of vitality, as if it were aware of its environment. The color shifts depending on the light, ranging from deep violet to silver-blue, and in motion, it leaves afterimages like comet trails, a visual cue of its otherworldly nature. Despite being non-metallic, Astral Fiber possesses a hardness comparable to tungsten carbide, capable of slicing through solid stone, reinforced armor, or energy barriers with ease. Its edges can form virtually indestructible blades when tensioned. This material can stretch, twist, and elongate to astonishing lengths without losing strength. It can coil around objects, extend dozens of meters in an instant, or reshape itself into stabbing, whipping, or binding forms. The substance remembers the shape it’s forced into and can retain partial forms after stretching, allowing for improvised weapons, barriers, or even temporary platforms in battle. While incredibly dense in terms of resistance, it feels light to the wielder, enabling acrobatic and high-speed maneuvers impossible with traditional weapons.

Weapon: Lumen Fang (Whip Sword)

Weapon Description: Lumen Fang is unlike any conventional weapon. Its blade is composed entirely of Astral Fiber, giving it the combined properties of tungsten-carbide-level hardness and elasticity. The weapon is stored in the form of a rosary necklace, with the fiber coiled into bead-like segments that hang elegantly between the Jennie's chest. The beads themselves are small, radiant orbs of condensed Astral Fiber, appearing like miniature moons strung together on a faintly shimmering chain. When idle, the rosary rests lightly around her neck, the central strand dangling just above the sternum. It appears as a delicate accessory. But in battle, the wielder can draw the Astral Fiber from the beads, extending it instantly into a whip-like blade of nearly 50 feet in length. The material flows fluidly, coiling, twisting, and lashing with unnatural speed, leaving behind glittering trails of starlight.

Power Information

1759000100109.png

Main Ability: Astral Beast Manipulation: A truly unique power, passed down through the enigmatic lineage of the Takeda Clan. Jennie is the latest heir to this remarkable power, inheriting its extraordinary gifts. Their family history is shrouded in mystique, with legends telling of their intimate connection to animal spirits that dates back centuries. The heart of Astral Beast lies in the Clan's extraordinary ability to establish a profound and symbiotic connection with animal spirits, transcending the boundaries of the physical world. Through a mysterious ritual known only to her family, users can commune with those spirits on a spiritual level, forging an unbreakable bond. This bond goes beyond mere companionship, as the clan and their spirits effectively share their souls. It also grants users access to a vast array of ethereal abilities, often described as "soul-like" powers. These abilities are an embodiment of the combined spirits of the clan and their animal companions. Through Spirit Connection, users are able to forge deep links with their fox spirits, enabling them to share senses with each other. Enabling them to extend their perception over long distances, making it ideal for reconnaissance and maintaining contact with their spirit companions. (NOTE: She prefers to use foxes over other animals.)
Technique
Soul Cage Trap
: A technique created by Jennie by siphoning the Astral fox spirits that she has summoned, by doing this they become visible in order to combine into Trap formula in order to create a soul cage to immobilize and drain the bio-energy of an enemy caught within the cage.

Spirit Fox Aki: A beast created by Jennie that is formed by 10 of the small astral foxes combining into one to form one giant fox. This jutsu uses up a good portion of Jennie's Vitality when it's fully out which is why she only uses portions of it when needed. While most of the fox is unable to be touched, its teeth is what does the damage and is the only part of the fox that is able to be connected with. The Spirit Fox's full appearance resembles a fox but more muscular but its head has multiple giant eyes covering it, each full of concentric circles. The Aki's arms are likewise monstrously large with oversized claws and is also covered in multiple eyes. She has light brown looking fur normally but in its spirit like form the beast takes on a more translucent purple and pink hue and both its eyes are reversed in colors as they glow.

Soul Piercing Fang: By fusing her essence with her fox spirit, Jennie conjures an ethereal fox head that lunges forward, biting not flesh, but the soul of her opponent. This attack bypasses conventional defenses, causing intense spiritual shockwaves that stagger enemies. It leaves a shimmering afterimage of fox jaws imprinted in the victim’s body.

Soul Vessel Binding: Jennie slams her palms together, her aura flaring as spectral flames spiral upward. With a piercing cry, she summons forth a large ethereal fox spirit, its nine tails curling like ribbons of starlight. The fox lunges in the aimed direction, its jaws opening wide, not to bite flesh, but to snatch the enemy’s soul from their body. The soul manifests as a glowing fragment, tethered by shimmering threads, before being sealed into a floating, glowing Soul Vessel. If the enemy fails to reclaim their soul within a certain time limit, the fox’s spectral tails coil around them, binding their limbs in glowing chains. This state leaves them paralyzed, mute, and helpless, dragged inch by inch toward the Vessel as if their very existence is being pulled back into it. The last state only lasts for a few seconds, long enough for allies or Ahri herself to strike decisively.

Phantom Hunt: Jennie releases one of her fox spirits into the battlefield, where it splits into multiple illusions of itself. These phantom foxes dash and weave around enemies, confusing their senses, and striking from every direction. The true spirit’s attacks drain a fragment of vitality, returning energy to Ahri and strengthening her.

Weakness
* Maintaining multiple fox projections splits Jennie's focus and overuse can lead to disorientation and migraines.

* Because the bond fuses the user’s soul with their spirit companion, any harm inflicted on the spirit directly weakens the user. If a fox spirit is injured or sealed, Jennie suffers backlash in the form of pain, disorientation, or even unconsciousness.

* Maintaining multiple spiritual links splits her focus, the more fox spirits she connects with, the faster she tires, and overuse leads to disorientation and migraines.

Moral Alignment: Chaotic, Good
Greatest Fear: Losing His Playful Side & Becoming Too Serious
Motivation/Goal: Pet Every Cat In Every City On Tour
Allies/Friends: Cairo | Minjae | Taemin | Kylin | Roxis | Renji
Relationships: Trinity Kagari (Girlfriend) | Ahri Takeda (Bestfriend/Sister)

Ahri Takeda (Bestfriend/Sister): Jixx could never really pinpoint the exact moment when Ahri became more than just a friend. They had met as children, barely five years old, and from that moment their lives seemed to run in parallel. What began as simple childhood companionship quickly evolved into something stronger. They grew up together—playing, fighting, whispering secrets, and shielding each other from the world in ways only children could. By the time they reached their teenage years, their connection had transformed into something that felt unshakable. To Jixx, Ahri wasn’t just a friend anymore; she was a sister in every sense of the word. She was fiery, wild, and reckless, while he carried himself with a quieter, steadier presence. Where she leapt without thinking, he held her back—or caught her if she fell. When he doubted himself, she was the one who reminded him who he was. They were a balance, each filling the spaces the other lacked. Through the years, Jixx learned what it meant to have someone who celebrated his victories as fiercely as she carried his burdens. Their bond was undeniable. Anyone who saw them together knew they weren’t bound by blood but by something deeper, something just as strong. By the time Ahri was in her twenties, she had already noticed what Jixx tried so hard to hide—the stolen glances, the pauses in his words, the way his voice softened whenever her best friend, Trinity, was near. For all her teasing nature, Ahri never mocked him for it. Instead, she became his quiet encourager, nudging him closer to Trinity with sly remarks and a knowing smile. “You should talk to her more,” she’d tease, but he knew there was a sincere hope behind her words—that he might find happiness of his own. Now, at twenty-two, Jixx has come to recognize how much Ahri’s silent support has meant. She never makes it about herself, never asks for thanks. She simply watches with pride as his bond with Trinity grows, content in knowing she played her part. Beyond all of that, he also carries the weight of one of her closest secrets—the feelings she keeps hidden toward Cairo. And in that trust, Jixx knows what he truly means to her. She is his sister, not by blood, but by choice, and that bond is one Jixx knows will never break.

Trinity Kagari (Girlfriend): Jixx never expected a simple charity concert to change his life, but that was the day he met Trinity. He was only twenty, already swept up in the blinding chaos of K-pop stardom, a world that demanded smiles, perfection, and endless energy. Yet all of that faded into the background the moment he noticed her. She wasn’t on stage like him, instead she was behind the scenes, working as a volunteer, stretching across the stage with her elastic powers to stop a massive speaker from crashing down. The crowd barely noticed, but Jixx did. The way she moved with such energy and ease, it captivated him instantly. Their spark was immediate, playful and natural. Jixx couldn’t resist teasing her, telling her that with her flexibility and energy she’d make the perfect cat. The words came out lighthearted, but when she laughed and actually entertained the idea, something stirred in him. He even went so far as to suggest she design her suit around the cat theme, and when she did, it felt like a private connection only they shared. Her sleek, feline-inspired suit wasn’t just an identity for her, it was also a subtle tribute to him. Over time, their paths kept crossing, and fate seemed to twist their lives together when they discovered they were both enrolled at the same Academy. For Jixx, it felt surreal. Here was Trinity, someone so carefree and bubbly, someone who could make him forget the pressures of fame and just breathe. She grounded him without even trying. And in turn, he realized she adored something about him too; not his status, not the star everyone else saw, but the way he made her feel truly seen and cherished, the way he recognized her for more than her powers. From that moment on, Trinity became more than just a spark in Jixx’s life, she became his balance. She reminded him that he wasn’t just a performer or a face on posters. He was Jixx, a boy who loved cats, who loved music, and who had finally found someone who accepted all of him.

Main Ability: Astral Manipulation: Jixx can create, shape, and manipulate astral energy, allowing him to project his astral form on the physical plane and to the astral plane and interact there, see spirits, making spirits visible to others, astral trapping and potentially harming the dead. He can allow others to be able to temporarily use astral projection or block others from astral projecting, sending them back to their bodies if they had already projected.
Techniques
* Predatory Hunt
: Marks his target with an astral symbol that glows brighter the closer he gets, enhancing his speed and strength against that one opponent.

* Meteor Dash: Converts his body into a streak of light to dash through enemies, leaving small star-like explosions along his path.

* Astral Cage: Summons glowing, constellation-like chains that ensnare enemies in midair.

Weaknesses
* Astral constructs (chains, shields, cages) can shatter if struck by opposing energy of equal or higher force, making him reliant on speed rather than defense.

* Astral energy requires intense focus; excessive strain causes headaches, dizziness, and distorted vision, making precision attacks fail.

Weapon Description

Rank:
2eba4pl.png
Main Ability: Severance

What Does Severance Do?

Mizuki channels raw Nexus energy into her blade, causing it to resonate at a frequency that unravels matter and energy at the point of contact. Unlike a traditional slash, Severance doesn’t just cut flesh or steel — it severs *connections*. Anything struck has its cohesion disrupted, whether it’s physical (metal, stone, bone), energetic (shields, blasts, barriers), or even metaphysical (bindings, enchantments, dimensional anchors). The result is a strike that doesn’t need force to overpower — it *disconnects* what it touches from what holds it together.

Key Capabilities

  • Visual: The sword hums with a blinding white fissure of Nexus energy, leaving behind thin afterimages of cracks in space itself with every swing.
  • Effect: A single strike can slice through almost anything in its path, ignoring conventional durability. Barriers split, energy disperses, and physical matter simply falls apart.
  • Weakness/Balance: Severance is not passive, it takes a toll on Mizuki. Overuse risks fracturing her own body as the energy feeds back.

Techniques

Mizuki-Secret Style: Edge of Silence: Tsubaki makes a controlled swing, not to cut the body, but to sever sound and momentum in a localized space. The result is a strike that lands in perfect silence, no clash, no echo - often disorienting foes and making counters harder.

Mizuki-Secret Style: Fracture Line: A concentrated slash that ignores distance, the blade’s cut is projected along a straight path in space, slicing through anything between Tsubaki and her target.

Mizuki Secret Style: Null Screen: A wide arc slash that severs incoming energy or projectiles from their momentum, dispersing them into multiple sparks.

Mizuki Secret Art: Boundary Cut: Tsubaki slashes the air itself, creating a “cut in space” that blocks attacks by severing their trajectory.

Life-Line: A precise cut aimed at the metaphysical “thread” of energy in living beings. It's not an auto-kill, it severs stamina, leaving the target fatigued and weakened.

Reversal Edge: When struck, Tsubaki redirects Nexus energy through her blade to cut the connection between the attacker and their weapon or ability.

Fracture Echo: A delayed slash left as a spatial scar in the air. When an opponent enters the zone, the scar activates, “severing” them mid-movement.

Background

Mizuki was born into the Mizuki clan, a family of respected swordsmen known for their elegance and precision in combat. Her father, Akatsuki Mizuki, was the clan’s pride — a man of immense skill, but also humility and compassion. From a young age, Mizuki admired the way her father’s blade seemed to move like flowing water, unyielding yet graceful. He would often tell her:

When Mizuki was still a child, her clan was attacked during a conflict between rival factions. Betrayal from someone close to the Mizuki family left them vulnerable. In the chaos, her mother was slain, and her clan fell one by one. Her father fought to the bitter end, shielding Mizuki until his body could move no more. His final act was placing his sword in her hands, telling her to “carry the spirit of our name — not with vengeance, but with resolve. Mizuki survived, but at a cost: she was the last of her clan.

Left wandering, Mizuki grew up in solitude. She carried her father’s teachings with her, practicing tirelessly with his blade until her movements echoed his. Yet she never fought to kill recklessly — every strike was weighed, every action purposeful. She became known as the swordswoman who fights with serenity, her calm aura often unnerving even seasoned warriors.

Despite her compassionate nature, Mizuki learned to bury her pain. To the world, she was unshakable — tranquil, wise, and endlessly patient. But in private, she wrestled with self-doubt, constantly questioning if she was truly worthy of the Mizuki name. The memory of failing to protect her family haunted her, and she carried the guilt like a phantom at her side. Mizuki never allowed herself to properly grieve. She suppresses the grief, wearing serenity like armor. While she saves others from despair, she quietly wonders if she is beyond saving herself. Her greatest fear isn’t death, but dying without ever truly finding her purpose beyond survival.

Though Mizuki carried her father’s sword and teachings, she could never silence the voice that whispered in her mind: “You failed him.” Years of calm discipline could not erase the memory of that night — the betrayal, the fire, the sight of her father’s blood on the ground. Her serenity became a mask, her compassion a shield, but beneath it lay unresolved rage. While wandering as a swordswoman-for-hire, Mizuki eventually uncovered fragments of truth: the betrayal of her clan had not been random. Her father had been targeted by powerful factions who feared the Mizuki style. The betrayal was not just an accident of war, but a choice made by men who still lived freely, unpunished.

When Mizuki crossed paths with Fushiguro, she saw in him the same fire she had suppressed: the willingness to bend morality, to strike first if the world would not strike fair. He spoke not of ideals but of results, and his words resonated with the part of her she denied existed. Fushiguro gave Mizuki permission to be angry when she had only allowed herself calm. He showed her that her father’s death was not an untouchable tragedy — it was a debt the world owed her, one she had every right to collect. Fighting at his side allowed her to channel her sword not just for “protection,” but for vengeance disguised as justice.
