Character Name
: Fushiguro Takashi
Villain Name: Creed
Age: 17
Origin: Osaka, Japan
Birthday: October 17th
Gender: Male
Height: 5'10
Weight: 170 lbs.
Personality Type: Once a joyful and idealistic child, Takashi Fushiguro was the type to see past anyone’s flaws, believing even the darkest people had some light left in them. Alongside his childhood friend Cairo, he clung to the hope that their lives—and the world around them—would change for the better. But the light he carried wasn’t built to survive the betrayal he faced.

After being deceived and abandoned by those he trusted most—including an adoptive family secretly tied to the Nullborn organization—Takashi emerged scarred in both body and soul. The warmth that once defined him has cooled into silence. Now calculating, observant, and emotionally distant, he keeps people at arm’s length, hiding a slow-burning anger behind sharp eyes and calm restraint.

Despite this transformation, fragments of his old self still surface. Moments of innocent laughter—especially from children—bring on waves of nostalgia he can’t afford to dwell on. He turns away, burying the past beneath the mission ahead.

Takashi now walks a path lined with vengeance. While outwardly aiding the Nullborn’s enigmatic goals, his true drive is personal: to tear down the lies that shaped his life and make those who hurt him pay. He is not a villain by nature—just a wounded soul searching for justice in a world that never offered it.

Moral Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Greatest Fear: To be betrayed by those who are close to him.
Motivation/Goal: To face his past with violence {current}
Allies/Friends: Cairo {former/alive}, Yuna {former/deceased}
Relationships: N/A

Power Information

Bio Energy Color: 1a1759f823b05c6466c186f90e544819.png15c8e3cf9808444f15f960401844b91f.png
Vibration Manipulation: A mechanical phenomenon whereby oscillations occur about an equilibrium point. Takashi manipulates his bio-energy to control Vibrations. Vibration is a very overarching concept and phenomenon that affects everything on a physical level, including sound, temperature and shockwaves, allowing users to exert their power over them, this ability can be quite limitless. Fushiguro is able to use vibrations to increase his own senses and condition, most commonly augmenting his combative output. For example, users would be able to cause massive physical damage through dramatically increasing small vibrations to seismic tremors. And the frequency that energy vibrates at determines the form and properties of that energy. That being said, mastery of this ability will allow the user to utilize the frequency of vibrations that exist within the particles that form reality. He can even go as far as creating matter from vibrations by exciting quantum fields that manifest into particles that shape together. Which allows him to discharge blasts and spheres of condensed matter.

Motion Manipulation: Fushiguro can can manipulate the action or process of motion/movement, the change in position of an object with respect to time typically in terms of velocity, acceleration, displacement, and time. He can slow down a person's senses, control the rate of tissue growth, alternate rhythmic sequences, sense/disrupt/trigger parachordal displacements and alter the speeds a person can move at or alternate destination patterns.

2221221zW73khxc.pngLimitations

◉ Fushiguro has a resistance to vibrations, but he's not immune to it, which means he can inflict damage on himself if he uses a significant amount of vibrations at once. If he pushes himself too far, he could generate enough vibrations where his body could self-destruct.

◉ If he has emotional instability, it could affect internal resonance. Which could cause a surge of kinetic energy output which could put himself and others in harms way.

◉ Consistent use of internal vibrations could cause intense stress on his body. This could lead to torn muscles, nerve damage, or even organ failure.

Techniques

Cataclysm Chord カタクリズムコード "Katakurizumukōdo"
Type
: AoE Destruction
Effect: Fushiguro builds up a massive internal vibration, syncing with the vibrational harmonics of a battlefield-scale zone. Then, they release a focused resonance pulse that:
  • Cracks terrain.
  • Collapses buildings.
  • Disrupts the balance of those standing.
  • Sends shockwaves strong enough to liquefy bone within a certain radius.
Inverse Reverb 逆リバーブ "Gyaku ribābu"
Type:
Counter / Redirection
Effect: Takashi absorbs the kinetic force of an attack and reverses its vibration back into the attacker, magnified.
  • A punch becomes a bone-shattering backlash.
  • A spell's wave collapses into the caster.
  • Projectiles crumble mid-air and hurl backward as compressed shards.
Event Horizon Pulse イベント・ホライズン・パルス "Ibento horaizun parusu"
Type:
Ultimate / Gravity-Vibration Fusion
Effect: The user forces vibrations into a tight enough frequency and amplitude that it begins to mimic gravitational collapse, creating a localized, controlled black hole-like pull. Everything nearby is:
  • Crushed by dense vibrational compression.
  • Dragged toward the epicenter.
  • Muted — no sound can escape the zone once active.
Quantum Overstep 量子オーバーステップ "Ryōshi ōbāsuteppu"
Type:
Temporal-Resonance / Hyper-Speed
Effect: The user manipulates subatomic vibrations to briefly "oversync" with the local timeline, allowing them to act faster than time permits:
  • Delivers strikes while appearing frozen to observers.
  • Sees enemy movements as slow arcs.
  • Can move between several positions in a single perceived moment.
Resonant Dominion 共鳴の支配 "Kyōmei no shihai"
Type:
Offensive
Effect: Tune into the vibrational frequency of your environment, gaining control to shatter or manipulate objects and disrupt enemy attacks.

Overhaul オーバーホール "Ōbāhōru"
Type:
Offensive
Effect: Upon contact, Fushiguro taps into and manipulates a person's vibrations, because all of molecules and atoms that make up those molecules vibrate at their own frequency.
  • Control the speed of these molecules
  • Inflict burning, damaging, or even liquify.
Heal 癒す "Iyasu"
Type:
Support
Effect: By tuning vibrations to the natural frequencies of healthy cells, a vibration manipulator can stimulate cell repair and division. This encourages damaged cells to regenerate faster and damaged tissue to knit back together.

Nova Burst ノヴァバースト "Novu~abāsuto"
Type:
Offensive
Effect: Vibrations concentrate and stabilize into particles. He manipulates the particles of matter to take shape and shoot a large blast of energetic matter.
  • Can manipulate the shape.

Background

2221221zW73khxc.png
Takashi’s earliest memories were filled with chipped walls, flickering lights, and the distant hum of sirens echoing through the slums of Neo-Kyoto. He had been left as a nameless infant on the doorstep of a run-down orphanage, wrapped in a singed blanket with no note, no past—only questions. No one knew where he came from, only that odd vibrations followed when he cried. Despite the bleakness, Takashi was a radiant soul. He met despair with laughter, cruelty with kindness. While others hoarded food, he shared his. While most children in the orphanage learned to expect disappointment, Takashi clung to belief—that people could be good, that the world could be better. In a place painted in shades of gray, he became a flicker of color.

His closest bond was with Cairo Saja, a quiet, thoughtful boy with a more guarded heart. The two became inseparable—brothers not by blood, but by pain and promise. They dreamed together of escaping the orphanage, not just to survive, but to truly live—Takashi most of all. His dream was simple: to grow up and spend his life surrounded by those he loved, chasing joy without fear. But those dreams began to crack the day Cairo vanished without a word.

The loss shook Takashi deeply. The boy who had always believed in people now felt the sting of abandonment. Not long after, he opened his heart again—to a girl named Yuna, whose quiet strength and compassion made the world seem warm again. But when he confessed his feelings, she rejected him. She didn’t mean to hurt him—but it reopened wounds that hadn’t yet healed. He smiled through it, but a quiet fracture deepened inside him.

Then came the Fushiguros.

Wealthy, well-known benefactors of the orphanage and public supporters of the Veilbound Order, the Fushiguros adopted Takashi when he was thirteen. It seemed like fate had finally smiled on him: a real home, stability, a second chance.

But what looked like salvation was a mask hiding something far more sinister.

Behind closed doors, the Fushiguros were deeply embedded with the Nullborn, a covert organization bent on warping the Nexus to their own ends. Takashi wasn’t adopted out of compassion—he was selected, targeted for his rare ability to manipulate vibration at a subatomic level. He was not a son. He was an asset.

Over the next few years, they groomed him. He was studied, trained, and subtly reshaped through veiled experimentation. By the time he realized what was happening, it was too late. As he neared adolescence, the Fushiguros handed him over to the Nullborn directly—for “refinement.” The experiments were brutal. Physically. Mentally. Spiritually. And as the pain deepened, so too did the truths they revealed.

Cairo had never disappeared. He wanted to get away from Takashi. Yuna, the orphanage staff, even the friends he once loved—they had all played roles in orchestrating his adoption. Tools in a betrayal that had been years in the making. Takashi wasn’t just a victim of circumstance. He was chosen for suffering.

Something inside him broke.

Consumed by fury and disillusionment, Takashi returned to the orphanage—not as the child who once believed in hope, but as a weapon forged in betrayal. The children who once shared his laughter met the edge of his wrath. They begged. They screamed. And Takashi, blinded by grief, silenced them. Yuna tried to stop him. She pleaded for him to listen, her voice trembling with tears and truth. She told him she never meant to hurt him—that she had no idea how deep the conspiracy ran. That she still saw good in him. But Takashi saw only lies.

With his sharpened gaze, his golden eyes shot into her soul as he ended her life.

The Nullborn gave him the name "Creed" to represent his path of vengeance.

What emerged from the ashes of that place was not the same boy. Takashi Fushiguro was no longer warm. No longer trusting. No longer whole. He had become cold, calculating—his silence a mask, his anger a quiet storm simmering beneath the surface. And yet, remnants of his old self haunt him. The sound of children laughing. A kind gesture from a stranger. The memory of a forehead kissed goodnight. These moments pierce through the armor he’s built—but he turns away every time.

That child is gone.

Now, Takashi walks alone—not to save the world, but to burn down the one that broke him.
Not for justice. Not for peace.
But for the truth—and vengeance that can never undo what was taken.

Trivia

2221221zW73khxc.png
Takashi can’t cook to save his life, but he has a strange talent for making perfect tea—something he learned from a kind caretaker at the orphanage.
He used to draw. But, he doesn’t draw anymore.
He has a soft spot for street musicians. The sound reminds him of better days.
His favorite food as a child was Alfort. He hasn’t eaten it since Cairo left, despite seeing it often.

Power Information
1752648577870.png

Main Ability: Sand Burial: Sand Burial is the unique ability of Hinari, in which she is able to infuse her energy into existing sand, or create sand out of thin air. Though ity doesn't move like sand should, it behaves less like loose earth and more like a swarm. When activated, each grain glows faintly and is visible as a faint golden or blood-red sheen. It becomes unnaturally dense, its collective weight capable of crushing stone, bone, and even keep large constructs from falling.
Techniques
Grain Bind
: Rapidly accelerates sand movement, wrapping around multiple targets at once like constricting serpents. Each grain delivers micro-shocks of energy which weakens muscle control.

Dust Mirage: Hinari scatters her sand into the air to create a shimmering haze that refracts light, hiding movements and distorting vision, essentially making her "invisible".

Living Sand Armor: Hinari coats herself in a layer of sand, allowing both defense and counterattack as the sand lashes out at anything that touches it or comes within a specific range (4 feet). this is to makek up for her close quarters vulnerability.

Sinking Domain: She spreads sand across the battlefield, making the ground itself a shifting trap. Anyone stepping into it finds their legs pulled under by the sands powerful suction.

Final Burial (Finisher): After fully ensnaring a victim, she floods the sand with a surge of energy, causing a sudden implosion that crushes the body and collapses the target’s life force in one strike.

Oblivion Coffin (Ultimate): A massive cocoon of sand that traps the target(s) in complete darkness. Inside, the sand slowly constricts and drains both life and energy until the victim’s body and aura collapse simultaneously.

Weaknesses
Overextension Risk
: Spreading the sand too thin over a wide area weakens its crushing strength and control.

Moisture Vulnerability: Heavy rain or water-based techniques can clump or wash away sand, making control slower and less effective.

High-Speed Evasion: Extremely fast opponents can break free before the sand tightens, especially if they don’t allow full contact.

Close-Range Weakness: If the enemy manages to get inside the user’s defensive perimeter, they can disrupt sand flow before it’s fully shaped.

Energy Burnout: Using high-tier techniques like Oblivion Coffin or Final Pulse Burial in quick succession can leave the user unable to control sand for minutes afterward.

Sub Ability: Sphinx's Enigma: This power manifests the ancient mystique and cruelty of the Egyptian sphinx — an eternal guardian that demands answers to impossible riddles and punishes those who fail. Wielders of Sphinx’s Enigma weaponize words, intellect, and psychological pressure as lethally as any blade, weaving riddles that trap their foes in cursed constructs. Each riddle carries a tangible, destructive consequence when unanswered… and sometimes, even when answered. The ability is a fusion of mind games and battlefield control, forcing enemies to play by the sphinx’s rules — where every wrong choice accelerates their defeat. Hinari conjures an ethereal sphinx behind them, its eyes glowing with golden hieroglyphs. This spirit projects a Cursed Riddle Zone within a set radius (10–30 meters), in which the enemy is “asked” a question that pierces their mind directly. If unanswered in 10 seconds, a wave of cursed energy constricts them, causing intense pressure, paralysis, or phantom wounds shaped like claw marks. If answered incorrectly, the punishment is far greater, manifesting as physical damage from spectral claws, crumbling terrain beneath their feet, or chains forged of golden light binding them in place. If answered correctly, they survive the trap… but the next riddle is harder, faster, and more dangerous. The sphinx spirit learns from each opponent, making riddles that target their weaknesses, fears, or personal history.
Techniques
Sand-Lock Riddle
: Hinari poses a riddle while golden sand tendrils snake along the ground toward the target. If the riddle isn’t solved, the sands coil and harden like stone, immobilizing them completely.

Hieroglyph Seal: The answer to a riddle appears as a single hieroglyph floating in front of the target. If they fail to touch the correct symbol in time, their body is branded with a burning seal that drains stamina and energy over time.

Lion's Judgement: After three failed riddles in a row, the spectral sphinx pounces physically, its massive claws ripping through the air. The strike bypasses most defenses, damaging the soul directly.

Eternal Questioning: The ultimate technique. The opponent’s mind is dragged into a mental labyrinth shaped like an endless desert under a blood-red sky. The only way out is to answer a final, personal riddle; One tailored to the deepest truth they refuse to face. If they fail, their consciousness is sealed inside the labyrinth indefinitely, leaving their body an empty shell in the real world.

Weaknesses
* The power relies on direct mental engagement; mindless creatures or those immune to illusion-based effects are resistant.

* Highly intelligent or quick-witted opponents can exploit the small delay between riddles to counterattack.

* Using Eternal Question exhausts a massive amount of energy and risks mentally damaging the user if it fails.

Ezaki

New member
"Don’t mistake my smile for kindness—it’s just the only expression I remember how to fake."
"You call it suffering. I call it… entertainment!"
"You look at me with fear in your eyes… how sweet. It almost feels like love."

Basic Information
1756810204155.png

Name: Nikki Ezaki Kim
Age: 21 Years Old
Origin: Ulsan, South Korea
Birthday: March 29th, 2210
Gender: Female
Height: 5 Foot 9 Inches
Weight: 175 Lbs

Personality Type: Nikki outwardly appears radiant, warm, and approachable, often smiling with a calm, playful demeanor that draws others in. Her charisma feels natural, almost comforting, and she carries herself with an air of cheerfulness that makes her seem harmless. Yet beneath this inviting façade lies a fractured soul, molded by years of torture and experiments at the hands of the Voidbound. Behind her laughter and whimsical behavior, Nikki is cold and frighteningly intelligent. She masks her emptiness with charm, often using humor or lightheartedness in situations where seriousness would be expected, which unsettles those around her. Even among allies, her casual disregard for hierarchy and tendency to act carefree in moments of severity makes her both unpredictable and mistrusted. Due to her traumatic past, Nikki suffers from emotional detachment; she is "at the moment" clinically incapable of feeling true emotions. Love, grief, or joy are alien concepts to her, things she imitates rather than experiences. Though she knows she is hollow inside, she hides this insecurity by overcompensating with charisma and feigned warmth. However, when insulted or reminded of her inability to feel, her mask cracks, revealing a ruthless, almost monstrous intensity.

She views humanity with quiet condescension, seeing most people as fragile, pitiful, and naive. Sometimes she even expresses “pity” for them, though it is laced with mockery. Yet, paradoxically, she shows a strange fascination with those who resist despair or confront her without fear, occasionally growing attached in ways she doesn’t fully understand. Her relationship with pain and suffering is deeply warped. Having endured endless torment from the Voidbound, Nikki has grown numb to agony and even treats it with a bizarre delight. Whether receiving wounds in battle or enduring poison eating at her body, she reacts with morbid curiosity and amusement rather than fear. Violence and hardship are, to her, simply another form of play. Though she leads others with the poise of someone who inspires devotion, Ezaki is a nihilist at heart. She denies the existence of gods, destiny, or an afterlife, believing that only nothingness awaits. Yet in fleeting, quiet moments, especially when near death she questions if there may be more, and in those moments, the cracks in her apathy hint at a shadow of genuine emotion waiting to break free.

Power Information
1756810193173.png
Main Ability: Crimson Webweaver: Nikki Ezaki commands the deadly art of Filukinesis, an ability that allows her to generate and manipulate silk-like threads from her body. More than mere fibers, her threads embody a balance of cutting lethality, elastic agility, and venomous precision, making her a fighter who straddles the line between graceful hunter and merciless predator. From her fingertips, wrists, and even her skin, Nikki can weave threads as subtle as a hair or as strong as tempered steel. These threads serve two primary forms: Blood-Infused crimson threads which by channeling her own blood, Nikki hardens her silk into glowing crimson strands with immense tensile strength and razor-sharp edges. In this state, her webs can carve through stone, steel, or bone with ease, or form lattices that slice apart anything ensnared. Then Elastic Silken Threads which when uninfused, the webs retain their resilience and stretch like organic wire. They can sling and tether her across terrain, turning Nikki into a high-speed phantom that swings between vantage points, reels enemies into striking range, or redirects momentum into devastating slingshot attacks. This duality allows Nikki to shift seamlessly between agile mobility and lethal offense, using her environment as both battlefield and weapon. Her control over these threads grants her remarkable versatility. She can shift seamlessly between lethality and mobility, ensnaring enemies in razor-lattices one moment and soaring high above the battlefield the next. Durable enough to block strikes, flexible enough to bear her momentum, and fine enough to be nearly invisible until it’s too late, Nikki’s webs are both her shield and her blade. The artistry of her power lies in its adaptability. Within confined environments, she transforms the terrain into a living death trap, weaving invisible snares that turn every step into a gamble. In open spaces, her elastic webs grant her the freedom of a phantom in motion, darting between vantage points, slingshotting into devastating strikes, and using momentum itself as a weapon. The more of herself Nikki pours into her threads, the deadlier they become. Every drop of blood sacrificed sharpens their edge and strengthens their hold, at the cost of her own vitality.
Technique
Crimson Guillotine: Nikki channels blood into her threads, forming a glowing lattice in midair that collapses inward like a closing trap. Anything caught within is shredded by the razor-thin blades, capable of cleaving through stone, steel, and flesh alike. This technique turns confined spaces into execution chambers, leaving enemies no room to escape.

Widow’s Stride: Using her elastic webs, Nikki can swing herself across terrain. She can rebound between anchors at unpredictable angles, delivering devastating midair strikes or using the momentum to impale enemies onto sharpened thread lines strung ahead of time. The technique makes her movements as erratic and lethal as a hunting spider.

Phantom Marionette: Nikki attaches fine threads to multiple opponents, manipulating their bodies like puppets. With each movement, she jerks limbs against their will—forcing enemies to strike one another, stumble into hidden snares, or hold themselves open for her assault. Blood infusion strengthens the bindings enough to tear into muscle and bone if they resist.

Silken Aegis: By layering dense webs in overlapping sheets, Nikki creates a barrier strong enough to block weapon strikes, absorb kinetic force, or entangle projectiles. Blood infusion sharpens the surface into a razor shield, punishing anyone who attempts to cut through. Elastic layering allows her to spring the shield outward, sending enemies staggering back as though struck by a whip.

Weaknesses
* Her webs reach peak effectiveness in structured or enclosed spaces where she can anchor threads. In wide-open battlefields with few anchor points, her mobility and trap-weaving become severely restricted.

* Her strongest techniques require infusing threads with her own blood. Excessive use leaves her weakened, dizzy, or anemic, reducing stamina and slowing her reflexes. In battles, her own vitality can become her greatest limiting factor.

* The momentum from her elastic threads can work against her. If an enemy is able to sever or redirect a tether mid-swing, Nikki risks being slammed into terrain or pulled into enemy attacks, leaving her briefly vulnerable.

Sub-Ability: Wood Manipulation: Through the voidbound experiments that changed her body, Ezaki gained the unnatural ability to command living wood as though it were an extension of her own flesh and blood. By channeling her bio energy through resonant pulses in her body, she can force nearby trees or conjured masses of blackened wood to bend, twist, and surge at her command. Her most iconic technique allows her to form colossal serpent-like dragon heads made of warped, knot-ridden wood that can stretch up to twenty meters. These wooden serpents are capable of extending further by splitting into smaller heads from their jaws, multiplying their reach and overwhelming enemies. The serpents bite with crushing force, coil tightly to immobilize targets, or simply grind their victims to dust within their massive maws. The wood Ezaki summons is unnaturally durable, resisting blades, fire, and most conventional weapons. When damaged, the serpents regenerate rapidly, stitching themselves back together as if alive. Their maneuverability makes them especially lethal by darting, weaving, and striking from multiple angles. Ezaki can also create twisted wooden bastions, forming gnarled, trunk-like barriers that shield her body or conceal allies. These living bulwarks writhe under her control, sprouting whip-like branches to lash out at intruders who draw too close. She often raises wooden platforms beneath her feet, elevating herself above the battlefield and making direct combat nearly impossible.

Techniques
Oblivion Burl: Forms a massive trunk-like knot of wood that can absorb damage and erupt outward in jagged splinters.

Wall Of Blossoms: Sprouts thousands of corrupted flowers from wooden bulwarks, releasing spores that obscure vision and disorient foes.

Withered Flames: Wooden serpents coil together, generating friction and releasing bursts of heat that erupt into flames to burn foes.

Forest Coffin: Creates a massive cage of intertwining trunks that crushes and entombs enemies inside.

Wooden Dragons: Summons serpent-like dragon heads of blackened wood that attack from every direction.

Pagoda Tree: Summons a colossal trunk beneath her to rise as a living tower, keeping her out of reach while striking downward.

Weaknesses
Limited Range: She must remain within a certain radius of natural trees or soil to manifest larger constructs.

Overgrowth Backlash: Summoning too many dragons at once can cause them to lose coordination and even lash out uncontrollably.

Environmental Dependency: Desolate or barren battlefields with no organic material force her to rely on weaker, conjured wood.

Character Name: Mellow Takahara
Age: 17 Years Old
Origin: Osaka, Japan
Birthday: October 31st
Gender: Male
Height: 5 Foot 7 Inches
Weight: 178 Lbs

Personality Type: Mellow Takahara is a haunting reflection of what happens when innocence is forced to live in the jaws of madness. When he was kidnapped by Tessa Koyami and taken to her hidden laboratory in Tokyo, his humanity was stripped away piece by piece as Tessa sought to prove the existence of the Wendigo curse. She experimented on him relentlessly, feeding him human flesh, killing and reviving him repeatedly until, after two days of death, he returned as a full Wendigo. His body was monstrous, but the cage she kept him in drained most of his power, leaving him a prisoner in both body and spirit. For seven long years, Tessa studied and tortured him until she found a way to force him back into human form. Even so, he remained confined to his cell, his only company being her voice through the glass and the small hatch that delivered his food. Now seventeen, Mellow has never stepped outside since the night he was taken. Years of isolation and psychological torment have left him quiet, reserved, and eerily composed. His voice is soft and deliberate, every word measured as if spoken through the fog of restraint. He watches more than he speaks, his eyes following every motion, every breath, as though he’s still being studied. Beneath that calm, however, lies something broken; the beast that whispers from the corners of his mind.

The Wendigo within him is not just a curse, but a living presence that hungers for freedom, speaking to him when he’s alone and clawing at his sanity when emotions surge. His control over it is fragile; anger, fear, or even the scent of blood can cause his claws to grow, his breath to frost, or his voice to distort into a chilling growl. Despite the horror he’s endured, traces of the boy he once was remain. He hums old lullabies without knowing why, stares in wonder at colors he hasn’t seen since childhood, and thanks machines out of habit, as if they were people. These fleeting glimpses of innocence make him appear gentle, almost kind; but that kindness is what keeps the monster within from taking over. He yearns to experience the world again, to breathe free air, and to know if his parents are still alive. Yet deep down, he fears what might happen if the Wendigo ever escapes his control. Mellow is a being caught between two worlds, man and monster and victim and weapon. His voice carries the calm of someone who has seen too much, but behind his quiet eyes burns the hunger of something ancient, waiting for the day when his chains finally break.

Crimson Prayers Of Restraint: The Crimson Prayer of Restraint is a string of twelve large blood-red beads, each engraved with faint runic markings that shimmer faintly like pulsing veins when exposed to moonlight. The cord binding the beads together isn’t ordinary thread—it’s woven from spirit-tethered sinew, created from the remnants of a curse seal Tessa engineered using both human and essence from a previous creation. When worn, the necklace feels unnaturally warm at first, as though alive, before cooling into a rhythmic pulse that syncs with the wearer’s heartbeat. Each bead represents one of the twelve primal hungers of the wendigo spirit—hunger, rage, despair, desire, envy, sorrow, blood, frost, silence, fear, instinct, and void. When Mellow’s transformation begins to spiral out of control, these beads flare with a deep crimson glow, releasing controlled bursts of sealing energy that suppress the monstrous energy threatening to overtake him. When his wendigo power spikes, the beads rotate slightly and hum, releasing thin streams of red mist that coil around his chest and throat like chains, pulling his energy inward. If Mellow resists the necklace’s restraint or uses too much power, the mist tightens, inducing pain as a reminder of its dominance, this is a failsafe Tessa designed to ensure her “creation” remained under control.

Main Ability: The Starved Veil: A rare and terrifying transformation-based ability that grants Mellow the cursed traits of a Wendigo, an ancient spirit of famine, frost, and the earth’s forgotten hunger. Unlike the traditional Wendigo of legend, the Wendicrux is a sentient being that stands between humanity and primal monstrosity, able to shift between human and monstrous form at will. In human form, he retains his rationality, though faint traces of the curse is always present such as elongated shadows, cold breath, and high moments of unstableness in personality. This sudden change in DNA granted Mellow mastery over Earth and Ice, the two elements born from its cursed essence: the cold of eternal hunger, and the soil that entombs the dead. Together, these powers give the Wendicrux dominion over terrain, temperature, and terror itself. Also as a wendigo, Mellow's life force goes in tandem with his healing, as such; his ability to heal through consuming flesh helps him when it comes to such things to a point where some will believe Mellow is immortal unless they actually cut his head off or stab him directly through the heart with fire hot enough to melt through his demonic ice heart. While he doesn't commit cannibalism on live beings, he does eat corpses of other humans and eat the flesh of animals rather they are cooked or raw which keeps his healing capabilities active. As such, he isn't able to regrow limbs like a leg or an arm without rest BUT if a limb is broken or twisted; for example, if someone grabs his leg, Mellow can completely twist his leg in order to deliver a blow to escape and his body will retwist it fast enough for him to use it almost instantly. Consuming live beings can make him more powerful, but since he's never done it in he isn't aware of the power that comes with eating live humans.
Transformation(s)
* Partial Wendigo: In this state, Mellow stands between humanity and monstrosity, a fragile balance where the Wendigo’s curse has not yet fully consumed his form. His body begins to subtly distort as his curse starts to change it. Small antlers begin to protrude from his skull, blackened at the tips like scorched bone. His eyes dim to a cold pale silver with a faint glowing. His nails sharpen into jagged claws capable of tearing through flesh and stone alike. His breath becomes visible, every exhale a mist of frost, and his voice carries an echo. While still recognizable as human, his aura shifts dramatically: nature recoils, animals flee, and nearby soil blackens under the pressure of his curse. He also gains heightened reflexes, amplified senses, and a hunter’s instinct. The cursed bioenergy sharpens into a weaponized aura, enabling faster movement through terrain and deadly precision in close quarters. Yet, restraint is critical; the more he indulges his hunger, the closer he comes to losing control and slipping into his true form.

* Full Wendigo: In this state, Mellow's body undergoes complete metamorphosis, his skin turns an ashen gray while his chest is lined with exposed bone-like rib armor resembling a ghastly cage. A massive, bleached deer skull replaces his face, adorned with towering antlers that twist like branches. Beneath hollow sockets burn violet eyes, pulsing faintly with malevolent hunger. A shroud of thick, black fur and feathers drapes across his shoulders and back. The Wendigo’s physique is lean but powerful, in this form the ground decays where he steps, and the sound of creaking bones follows every motion. In battle, the full Wendigo becomes a living calamity, capable of manipulating earth and ice with feral instinct. Antlered tendrils of frozen soil can erupt from the ground, while their claws rend through both armor and spirit. The creature feeds not only on flesh but fear itself, devouring the energy of despair to strengthen its cursed form. At this stage, humanity is nearly lost; only immense willpower or the restraint of sacred seals can return Mellow to normal. To witness this transformation is to stand before the hunger of the earth made flesh, a god of famine and frost born from the sins of cannibalism.

Techniques
* Blue Tree Meadow: An ancient Earth technique born from the cursed of the wendigo, this technique channels cursed bioenergy into the forest itself. When activated, the trees exude a thick, dark mist infused with Mellow's corrupted essence, a toxin of despair that seeps into the minds of intruders. Those who inhale it are consumed by illusions of their deepest fears, forced to relive memories twisted into nightmarish visions. The mist attacks both body and mind, breaking its victims through dread until they lose all will to fight or live. This technique can be used in tandem with Yūin Ekō as a devastating trap, creating a prison of terror where even the strong crumble. Mellow can alter the mist’s range and potency, but the danger lies in its nature.

* Cursed Ground Snare: A sinister Earth technique developed by Mellow to immobilize and torment his prey. By channeling cursed bio-energy into the soil, he transforms the ground into a living trap infused with malevolent intent. Once done, the cursed terrain conceals invisible snares that lie dormant until triggered. When prey steps within range, the ground erupts with antler-like tendrils of solid earth, twisting upward to ensnare and bind the target in an unbreakable grip. The cursed energy woven into the soil drains the victim’s strength and warps their perception, leaving them disoriented as they are dragged deeper into the ground’s cold embrace. Mellow can control the snares remotely, tightening, dragging, or restraining the victim at will; making the Cursed Ground Snare both a trap and a death sentence. Within a forested environment, the earth itself is dangerous, waiting patiently for its next victim to step too close.

* Earth's Home: With this technique, Mellow can phase through his surroundings, allowing him to quickly avoid an incoming attack and can travel undetected as well. Using this method of approach, Mellow can execute a surprise attack on his enemy(s).

* Wendigo's Camo: Mellow controls the reflection of light around his body using energy, causing his form, shadow, and even breathing to become invisible to the unaided eye. Because he perfectly blends in with his surroundings, Mellow can sneak up behind an enemy without being noticed. Since both hia appearance and scent are camouflaged, his presence can only be revealed by the sounds he make.

Weakness
* Mellow's control weakens the farther it extends from his body.

* Because the cursed earth is linked directly to Mellow’s bio-energy, destruction or purification of that earth sends feedback through his body. If the constructs are shattered violently or purified mid-connection, the resulting recoil can momentarily stun or paralyze him.

Sub Ability: Wendimirage: An advanced and haunting ability that allows Mellow to create illusions so vivid, they cross the boundary between imagination and reality. Unlike typical illusion arts that merely trick the senses, Wendimirage weaves his malevolent will and hunger into the illusions themselves, giving them partial physicality and emotional influence. Every illusion under this ability is born from Mellow's malice, hunger, and trauma; manifestations of the Wendigo curse that echo as ghostly reflections of their mind. These mirages can distort perception, inflict real harm, or devour the sanity of those ensnared within them. The ability is a perfect fusion of psychological warfare and supernatural horror, blending spiritual deceit with primal instinct, a hunter’s illusion given flesh.
Techniques
* Yūin Ekō: A sinister sound-based technique designed to lure, deceive, and disorient prey through the mastery of cursed bio-energy. By infusing this energy into his vocal cords, Mellow gains the ability to perfectly mimic any voice or group of voices he's heard; matching tone, cadence, and emotion with chilling accuracy. The primary purpose is psychological manipulation. He projects these false voices across great distances, using them to draw victims into ambushes or traps. The mimicry is so convincing that even those familiar with the imitated person cannot tell the difference.

* The Screech Of The Kewok: A illusion technique created by Mellow, using energy to turn scream into a powerful force of pressure. When at point blank range, the person(s) trapped in the scream will simply be blown back with little to no damage unless more destructive force is used. However, just hearing the screech alone will put someone under an illusion.

* Mist Of Phobos: A technique in which induces fear unto others via a mistlike substance produced from the mouth. Mellow focuses his energy in his stomach and slowly bring it up through his mouth as a breath which releases the mist, meaning he can induce fear simply by breathing onto his opponent. It is unknown when this technique is about to be used until the target sees a misty substance being produced from the mouth. This only gives the target a couple seconds to retreat as the actual effect takes place from the smell which follows almost immediately giving off the stench of death.

* Fear Inducement: From his right eye, with a mere gaze, Mellow can induce intense fear and paranoia in his target, plunging them into a nightmarish mental state after making eye contact. Victims experience hallucinations of their deepest fears, making them susceptible to panic and terror. This fear can be so potent that it immobilizes the victim, rendering them incapable of rational thought or action.

* Dreadwalker: From his right eye, Mellow can actually manifests the fears of the victim(s) into the real world only after the victim has already been engulfed by one of the three prior abilities, as Mellow is then able to tap into the victim's deepest fears and phobias. He can then shape these fears into tangible, nightmarish entities known as "Dreadwalkers." These manifestations are eerie and grotesque, embodying a more twisted representation of the victim's worst nightmares. They may cause physical harm, psychological distress, or even induce life-threatening situations. Victims are forced to confront their fears head-on, making escape or resistance exceedingly difficult. As the victim becomes more scared by what they envision, The Dreadwalkers can transfer their fear and negative emotions back to Mellow, bolstering his power and intimidation factor. This exchange of fear can further weaken the victim while enhancing the user's abilities.

Weakness
* Since the manifestations he summons depend on the user, he has no control over what appears which means this can potentially backfire on him and suffer the same fate as the victim.

Background
1759944957542.png

Mellow was born on a quiet winter morning in Kyoto, Japan, to a loving couple; Nitara and Shinsuke Takahara, simple artisans who ran a small workshop specializing in handcrafted prayer charms and ceremonial masks. His childhood was gentle, filled with the warmth of home-cooked meals and the soft hum of his mother’s voice as she carved charms to ward off evil spirits. Though money was tight, the family’s bond was unshakable until the winter of his ninth birthday. That was when Tessa Koyami came into their lives. A mysterious woman posing as a researcher from the Tokyo University of Anthropology, she had been traveling through Kyoto studying legends of the “Jikininki”; a mythical creature said to have been born from a greedy, selfi, or impious person forced to consume human flesh after death. The creature was a lot like the one she studied while she was on vacation in North America, the Wendigo and wondered if they were the same creature of something different. The Takahara family thought nothing of her strange interests, until the night Mellow vanished.

On a snow-covered evening, Mellow was walking home from a local shrine when a van stopped beside him. Before he could react, a sweet scent filled the air, and his world went black. When he awoke, he found himself inside a cold, metallic room, far from the wooden floors of his Kyoto home. The faint hum of machines echoed endlessly through the corridors. He was in Tessa Koyami’s underground laboratory, hidden beneath an abandoned hospital in Tokyo. There, he became “Subject W-03”, the third of Tessa’s human trials to uncover the truth behind the curse. She was convinced the ancient spirits of hunger could be replicated through science and energy fusion, and Mellow was her chosen vessel. For years, Tessa pushed his body and mind past the brink of death. Using the method of the Wendigo, she force-fed him human flesh, claiming it was a “purification ritual” to awaken dormant primal genes. Though, when his body had negative effects during the experiment, she killed him, only to watch him rise again two days later, transformed into something unrecognizable. She was expecting something that still looked mostly human but with slight supernatural features, but what she got was something else entirely. His human form was gone, his voice was gone, all that remained was a creature with bone antlers, a skeletal mask resembling the skull of a deer, and glowing eyes.

Thankfully for Tessa, the containment cage she engineered drained his energy and kept his power very low, leaving him docile enough for continued study. For the next seven years, she continued her twisted research, documenting every twitch, every pulse, every growl he made. She called it “progress.” When she finally managed to revert him back to a human form, Mellow was fourteen but even then, he was never released. Instead, he was kept inside the same glass cell, his life measured in routine feedings through a small compartment and the occasional wordless stare from behind reinforced glass. He learned to stop screaming, stop asking “why.", and in that silence, he began to listen to the faint heartbeat of the monster within him.

Now seventeen, Mellow has spent over half his life in captivity. His body has adapted to the curse; the Wendigo sleeps beneath his skin, whispering through his veins like cold wind through pine. He has never seen the world beyond the lab since that night in Kyoto. Sometimes, when Tessa walks by the glass, clipboard in hand, he can still feel the faint warmth of hatred stirring inside him. Other times, he wonders if there’s even a world left for him to return to. When he stares at his reflection in the glass, he sees both faces, the frightened boy he once was, and the monster she made him become. And deep down, in the frozen pit of his soul, a promise lingers: “When I escape… you’ll see what true hunger looks like.”
